    Murder rate plummets

Actually I apologize, I misread your post, you were using it as the present tense. However, the murder rate did in fact plummet in 2023 vs 2022. The funny thing about @Strike’s recent bump is that with 2022 being revised slightly upward, that makes the 2023 decline even larger. And based on the report from the OP, it’s continuing to plummet in 2024 as well based on early data.
  2. I didn’t realize Georgia righties had been embarking on a voter suppression mission until John Oliver talked about it recently. Looks like Trump will win Georgia after all. https://www.propublica.org/article/right-wing-activists-georgia-voter-challenges

  5. Hey leave @jonmx out of this
  6. Like @Herbivore, just a guess really. But you can probably start with the fact that online gamblers skew male, and males skew Republican. https://playtoday.co/blog/stats/male-vs-female-gambling-statistics/ https://ropercenter.cornell.edu/how-groups-voted-2020 What a terrible take. Do all teams have the same number of fans?

    Murder rate plummets

No, a word ending in -ing is generally referring to the present tense, it’s not a prediction of the future. You (and the poster after you) might want to consult an English class.

“Plummeting” is more accurate than “through the roof”

The tweet I posted a few posts up is more accurate than your article. HTH

    Murder rate plummets

The article you shared was also misleading because it implied the change was driven by changes to the 2022 data when the bigger change (again, for the better) was to 2021. I believe the only time it mentioned 2021 was when they quoted someone who noted changes to 2021 also. But despite the length of the article, the author never specified how 2021 changed. I know I’ve told this to you before but you may want to do a better job vetting your sources. Seems to be trend of you citing dubious sources. Have a nice day as well.

    Murder rate plummets

Will you acknowledge the 2021 data was adjusted for the better?
  15. 700 of the 1200 stores are not planned to be closed until after 2025. So either they think Harris is going to win, or they don’t think Trump can save them.

    Murder rate plummets

    Bump for @Strike
  17. So what are you talking about? That she was 15 minutes late? Really grasping for straws there, that’s poor planning on their part if her being 15 minutes late threw them off. I’m sure Trump or really any other Presidential candidate is always right on time. I actually agree with Horseman for once, if I’m Baier/Fox I ask as many questions as I need to as long as she allows it, but seems to me like she was the one that stopped it anyway. 27 minutes. @Strike wrong again.

Kamala Harris Fox Interview Oct. 16

Although I guess this should be more properly worded as NOT admitting he lost the 2020 election
  19. In what, popular vote? What metric is the “Trump up 12 points in betting markets” referring to?
  20. Is it a safe assumption to say that conservatives are probably more likely to be gamblers than libs? And don’t betting lines move based on how the money is coming in? So all this really means is more people are betting on Trump, which isn’t a surprise to me given the first point.

Admitting he lost the 2020 election
  22. Here Baier says it was her team that wanted to end it, not him
  23. Pretty well done. If this was about Kamala, it would be the most viral thing on X right now.
  24. 15 minutes late? Were they only allotting her 15 minutes initially?

Kamala Harris Fox Interview Oct. 16

Pretty much agree with this. Baier interrupted her several times right in the beginning which was super annoying, and shocker that all the conservatives who whined about the moderators from the debate don’t have a problem with that. He did get a little better with that later on at least. I thought it was laughable that he asked about trans surgeries for prisoners before the economy, or frankly at all if only having 30 minutes. She didn’t do horrible, but she did give mostly non-answers. “But Trump” isn’t irrelevant when that’s the guy you’re running against, but it was pretty stupid of her to say “Donald Trump has been running for office that entire time” when asked why people thought the country was on the wrong track during the current administration. But she didn’t blame everything on Trump, for example she called out how the border was a mess even before Trump. Overall this probably isn’t going to change anyone’s mind either way.
