  2. Prediction: Bud Light sales will show modest increases in April, to which CNN will claim they have defeated the boycott, not realizing that they’ll probably be like 20% down vs. 2022
  3. GC righties will argue about literally anything
  4. Do you not see the difference between “there is truth” and “Everything he said is true” ?
  5. You mean like @RaiderHaters Revenge who said everything this whackjob said was true?
  6. I’m not surprised the guy who thinks “could care less” is proper grammar thinks hyperboles are true

  8. But it’s not raining buckets. JFC you’re dumb
  9. Pretty sure it was part of the same line of questioning. It adds context because you idiots kept saying “but it was the #1 beer!!” She didn’t think they needed a different marketing strategy just because woke, it was because sales had been in decline. She was right about that. She just obviously chose the wrong method to try to do that.
  10. Heinerscheid was only the VP for Bud Light. So her comments were about Bud Light alone, and thus Dale Earnhardt Jr being sponsored by Bud is irrelevant. You got me, I looked up some of the old Real Men of Genius videos and the first few I saw were for regular Bud, but then later saw some for Bud Light as well. But again, that was 16+ years ago so probably isn’t even what she was referring to. However, those were kinda “fratty” (for one, only talking about men), so thanks for proving her point. They weren’t “highlighting various professions,” unless you consider things like “really really bad dancer,” “silent killer gas passer” and “too much cologne wearer” to be professions now; they were making jokes, many of which could probably be considered “out of touch.”
  11. Oh I do see there were some Bud Light Real Men of Genius commercials (in addition to Bud). Several of those ones in particular were “fratty with out of touch humor,” for example talking about farting and setting fires on a grill. Those were also 16+ years ago so I’m sure not even what she was referring to.

    Boom! Disney getting canceled 🤣😅

Didn’t Disney change the board of the Reedy Creek thing so that Desantis’s cronies are basically powerless?
  13. “Real Men of Genius” and sponsoring Dale Earnhardt Jr was Budweiser, not Bud Light. Now admit you were wrong, it’s OK you can do it.

I see this place hasn't changed much...

I don’t think that’s what Jesus would say
  15. Agree. But like I said that’s usually not enough for greedy corporations, especially if sales were already declining. They probably did need to try to find a new audience. They should have been able to do that without alienating their existing one. Uh, her quote. “It was really important that we had another approach” - clearly that’s talking about their marketing. But yeah, of course idiots like you and “Colin Rugg” interpreted it the way you said.
  16. “Fratty” was referring to their marketing, not the consumers. She specifically said they wanted to appeal to younger consumers, as well as women, and “fratty” of course implies they were really just marketing to men.
  17. On the Walmart app for my area it is (and not even with a rollback on Blue Moon)
  18. Correct. Her statement wasn’t wrong. Using trannys to try to do it was
  19. Being #1 usually isn’t enough for investors/boards of directors, etc. They want to see growth, or at least not a decline. Shocker I know, but @avoiding injuries did not include the full context of Heinerscheid’s quote “I’m a businesswoman, I had a really clear job to do when I took over Bud Light, and it was ‘This brand is in decline, it’s been in a decline for a really long time, and if we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand there will be no future for Bud Light,'" Heinerscheid said.”
  20. That statement isn’t really wrong. They could have done something without using a tranny to target a new audience without alienating their current one.
  21. Remember when the GC believed this dude wasn’t just faking being non-binary for lesser charges? Dummies
  22. Pretty much, obviously they’re not going to do this so they’d be better off doing nothing at all (in terms of marketing)
