Why am I not surprised @Voltaire posted this in the Colorado nightclub shooting thread, and now seems to be of the opinion that Crooks must be a lib. Of course one difference that makes it more plausible for Crooks to be a righty that committed this heinous act is that MR Aldrich targeted gays indiscriminately, whereas Crooks targeted one specific person, and not “the party.”

Oh ok I see what you’re doing. So even if the shooter turns out to not be a radical leftist (which we still don’t know), it’s still going to be the left’s fault. Did you miss the other posts calling out how Trump has said “we won’t have a country” or all the Republican attack ads showing things being shot and blown up? Heck after getting shot he said “fight fight fight!” The “rhetoric” comes from both sides.

I would agree that radicalized left wing nut job is the most likely, but the odds aren’t as favorable as you suggest IMO. I’d go something like 50% radicalized left wing nut job 30% Republican or Libertarian anti-Trumper 20% apolitical psycho that wanted to be famous

Anti-Trumper does not automatically mean anti-Republican. Him being a Republican that is anti-Trump does seem plausible though because any Republican will be able to beat Biden.

Ok looks like I was wrong, I thought the donation receipt only showed zip code but do now see it says address as well and that it was him. I don’t know what his political lean is, I was just saying I originally didn’t think he was the one that donated the $15. With the date of the donation being on Inauguration Day, it’s also possible he lost a bet.

He most likely did not donate to the left (at least not the $15 in question). That seems to likely be a different guy with the same name
