Thank you for the technology lesson. So are you saying that if someone always uses a VPN then Seruga couldn’t get their IP address? Also, do you find it odd that someone with the technology to allegedly collect every IP address in the world would be shilling emergency preparedness kits?

I’m not sure this will get him many additional votes, it’s just riling up his base. Unlike Hinchcliffe’s comment which was directed at people that may have already been planning to vote for Trump, even if you believe Biden was talking about all Trump supporters, by definition that is only referring to people that were planning to vote for him. An undecided voter or one that was previously planning to vote for Harris likely knows that Trump has made similar comments including just the other day calling America a garbage can for the world.

This probably could have went in my “Elon wants to fire many government employees” thread. Honestly, this and RFK are the 2 things I fear most about a Trump presidency, but I think it’s still better than the alternative unfortunately. I do agree that trimming the government fat would be better for the long-term, but firing that many people would likely crush the economy and the “temporary” could be several years. I feel bad for some of the folks that think Trump will fix everything, but the reality is that high inflation and having a job is better than low inflation and not having a job (even though @RLLD seems to disagree with that)
