It wasn’t being hidden. There were active lawsuits that would have decided whether it would be released. Which is why whistleblower protection shouldn’t apply since they were not blowing the whistle on anything illegal.

Honestly, if anyone wants to have a serious conversation about this, the one way “liberalism” could have contributed to this is the acceptance of getting worthless college degrees. I don’t buy Hale “being taught” about white privilege. They lived it by attending that school. And It appears of course Hale was privileged. However they went to art school and lived with their parents at 28, so clearly wasn’t able to use that privilege to get a leg up. So maybe they were mad that others were able to actually use their privilege (yes, it exists) as opposed to getting an art degree with extremely limited job prospects forcing you to live with your parents?
