So “end” and “stop” aren’t synonyms? -
Shots fired near Trump as he leaves Florida club
TimHauck replied to F1erce's topic in The Geek Club
Technically, he didn’t say “he” must be stopped, he said “they,” referring to “extreme MAGA republicans.” Were there any other attempted assassinations on Republicans today? Also, I can’t help but notice the irony in people here blaming statements like Jeffries’ in a thread that also contains a post from an account called “End Wokeness.” If you think saying “they must be stopped” could make someone want to kill Trump, then saying “End Wokeness” could make someone want to kill whoever they think is responsible for wokeness. (I personally think it’s silly for either to be blamed for violence) Although if there’s one prominent social media account that could possibly be blamed for violence, it might be Libs of TikTok, who despite claiming to be against violence, is constantly providing crazy people with potential targets. I’m not surprised the same hypocrite in here blaming this assassination attempt on the media, is also sharing Libs of Tik Tok posts. If people really want to “tone down the rhetoric,” that includes Libs of Tik Tok. -

Gotta give CNN some credit for reporting Trump as the target before the NY Post -

That was how it was initially reported by the NY Post -

Interesting. I initially saw the anti-Trump posts in 2020 and about how he wanted Bernie to win. -

Weird, last time I was told the government was hiding the shooter’s Twitter account -

So NY Post initially reported two people shooting at each other but not Trump, and CNN first reports someone shooting at Trump. We’ve officially entered the twilight zone -
Cool so it does exist

Fashionable foreigners exposing Ohioans to new culinary experiences

Also, the funeral home is called “Littleton and Rue,” so buying the properties under the name Littleton isn’t exactly sneaky. -

You mean Republican mayor, Rob Rue? Although what’s wrong with someone buying properties as long as it’s done legally? Are you a communist? I’d think a mayor investing his own money in his town would be a good thing. Nonetheless, let’s have a look at these properties. 830 N Limestone St - this is a funeral home that is his family’s business, an 8600 square foot, 3.8 acre property assessed at almost $1.3 million dollars 814 N Limestone - adjacent to the funeral home 810 N Limestone, the parking lot, also adjacent to the funeral home 218-220 E Madison - also adjacent to the funeral home 822-824 Mason St - directly across the street from the funeral home 818-820 Mason St - directly across the street from the funeral home 828 Mason St - next to 818-820 & 822-824 So, all of these properties are basically adjacent to each other. Doing a quick search, I didn’t find anything saying they were ever publicly advertised for rent. If I had to guess, they’re either using them for short-term rentals for people attending funerals, or looking at expanding the funeral home, or if you want to think more sinister, planning to bulldoze the other homes for some sort of development. If he is renting them out, I can’t imagine he’d want there to be overflowing trash cans or people throwing mattresses on the yard. Is your theory that he is “packing them in” directly across from his family business and million-plus dollar property? If so, they must really be great tenants! -

Oh the irony. I’m one of the few here that truly “does my own research.” I doubt any “DNC overlords” have even seen that video. I just think it was funny that the first problem he named that we need to fix before taking in immigrants is free WiFi. -

Another interview with the guy running for mayor that went viral for his speech at the town meeting. He says some things that make some sense, but asks why we’re accepting people from Haiti when we need to fix our problems first. Like…getting free WiFi across the country. Lol at comparing that to people fleeing from Haiti. -

Well the Neo Nazis were in fact there. And the second part was his opinion. So not sure where you’re going with this. -

The next move will be blaming all anti-Haitian crime on the local blacks (there was one convicted of hate crimes in December) - https://www.springfieldnewssun.com/news/springfield-man-admits-guilt-in-haitian-hate-crimes/P72LOMZ26VCHTLVCWP7B4SRGT4/ -

Then why is he still trying to say the cat eating stuff “has merit”? Now quoting a grainy tiktok video of some Africans in a different part of Ohio grilling what may or may not be a cat but could also be a chicken. -

Was it also liberals disguising themselves as neo Nazis marching in the town a month ago before the town went viral? I still laugh at the guy in Oliveira’s video…”did you hear the Neo Nazis were here? I’m not saying it’s right, I’m not saying it’s wrong” -

Agree with this except #3, it should really only be used with QB’s when playing against a stud WR, as you know barring injury or rushing stats the WR’s points will be coming courtesy of the QB. Using three guys to try to “cancel out” one which isn’t even guaranteed doesn’t sound like a good value.

Ohio is sending troopers and $2.5 million to a city that has seen an influx of Haitian migrants

This CEO was also quoted in one of the other threads if you hadn’t seen: Jamie McGregor, CEO, McGregor Metal: It started slowly. We had an application pool that was a little bit different. William Brangham: People coming to work here. Jamie McGregor: People looking for jobs. What he is welding here, again, are welded axle components. William Brangham: Jamie McGregor is the CEO of McGregor Metal, which makes welded parts for the auto and farm industries. Right now, about 10 percent of his work force is Haitian, over 30 employees. Jamie McGregor: I wish I had 30 more. Our Haitian associates come to work every day. They don't have a drug problem. They will stay at their machine. They will achieve their numbers. They are here to work. And so, in general, that's a stark difference from what were used to in our community. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/ohio-city-with-haitian -
So to confirm, in this civil war scenario, any conservative that commutes from the suburbs to a blue city, or possibly just works for a company headquartered in a blue city, wouldn’t be able to keep their job, right?
