Bringing this discussion to the proper thread, my apologies for accidentally putting it in the wrong one. I don’t really follow this thread that closely because I don’t really give a sh1t about any polls, but I thought it was interesting that multiple posters replied to RealTim about him claiming he knew what Harris’s internal polling says, yet no one did the same with @jonmx. Not saying you guys have to reply to every post, it just shows the bias of many righties here. Particularly @Strike, he’s been very active in this thread so I know he read Jon’s post, you haven’t been so you may not have actually read it.

Sorry was supposed to be in Tim’s thread about polling and the Presidential race. You said he was making sh1t up about Harris’s internal polling (maybe he was), but ignored when @jonmx did the same thing with Trump’s.

Trump deaths? Wtf are you talking about? My point is the Covid pandemic screwed up the stats. It spanned parts of both the Trump and Biden terms. So comparing economic stats to anything during the pandemic doesn’t really make sense. But comparing now (when covid is mostly an afterthought) to before it started does make sense. It’s not cherry picking, it’s comparing apples to apples.

The reason they’re going back to 2019 is because Covid screwed up all the stats. Here is median real wages (wages adjusted for inflation): https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/LES1252881600Q They actually peaked in May 2020. But it’s misleading because the spike exactly correlates with when unemployment spiked: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/UNRATE/ And we know lower paid workers were hit hardest by unemployment at the start of the pandemic, so the “median” actually increased. So basically you have to compare to pre-covid for a more accurate comparison. And real wages were exactly the same in Q4 2021 as they were in Q4 2019, and have mostly gone up since. They did go up faster under Trump however. So Trump’s economy was better which is the main reason I’m voting for him, but to the subject of the thread, Biden’s economy is not nearly as bad as many are making it out to be.

Quick glance at the replies and I don’t see anyone talking about Mars. Most people either complaining that people can’t afford to have kids because of inflation or blaming libs for pushing the idea of not wanting kids. Do you really think that post had anything to do with colonizing Mars? Also, do you think Hunter Biden d1ck pics should be allowed on x?
