Here was my last post on that. I admitted I was wrong that he was supposedly “planning” to testify, but that we’d never know for sure if he would have. I also had admitted that I didn’t realize there were supposed to be hearings in front of both the Senate and House, and it was confirmed by a senator that he refused to testify in front of Senate, so I was still skeptical he actually would have showed up for the Congress one. edited to add: So the post I cited was never really proven to be fake. On the other hand, @Horseman has probably fallen for like 5+ fake social media posts just in the past month.

Key word in my post being “so far.” Also Western North Carolina was the main area of NC impacted by Helene and only has about 1 million residents.

The misinformation is Doocy saying “there’s not enough money for the people of North Carolina.” The “FEMA doesn’t have enough money to last through hurricane season” line doesn’t mean they’re out of money now. And of course it doesn’t mean they won’t get more funding before they run out.
