We still don’t know much about Crooks. My guess is he was truly the “standard issue school shooter” and did it more for notoriety than anything else. Routh appears to be politically motivated, and as @RaiderHaters Revenge mentioned, his biggest motivation seems to be Ukraine. He was tweeting nonstop about Ukraine before Russia officially invaded (so before most of America or the media cared), so doesn’t look like he would really be influenced by the “Dem propaganda machine.” He also appeared to back Vivek, likely because he wanted to achieve peace between Russia & Ukraine.

In terms of the Presidential race, what would be the most likely outcome if Trump is killed now, before the election. He gets replaced by someone else who likely wins in a landslide. It is certainly possible that someone who wanted a Republican other than Trump to be President would be who attempts to kill him. So far, the evidence suggest that both Crooks and Routh may have been neither Democrats or Republicans. As someone who can admit I was wrong, I will do so here. I previously said that Routh was a lib, but that does not appear to be the case. In fact he specifically said “so tired of people asking me if I am a Democrat or Republican as I refuse to be put in a category.” Of course I’m sure you’ll come back with some quip like “that’s what you say too.” Very funny haha. He didn’t support him in 2024, not sure about 2020. Could have been similar to Trump in that he voted for him but was disappointed after was actually in office.

But no, I don’t have a problem with Feds showing up on someone’s doorstep to investigate if they have evidence he wrote that post, to see if they could determine if they thought there was a legitimate threat. I mean, isn’t this similar to the conversation around school shootings and how the perpetrators are often known to law enforcement? Not sure why they didn’t give their name though. I kinda doubt he would have talked to them even if they did, but who knows.

Wasn’t the MSM saying most of these things or similar in 2016 & 2020 though? What changed? The only thing I can think of is January 6th. Obviously they shouldn’t try to kill him for it, but maybe evidence of Trump literally not supporting democracy has pushed some of them over the edge?
