“The people” being your friend’s business and the people that made this movie. Nothing wrong with marketing your business, but that’s what this is, not “making people aware of child trafficking”
-
Sure, but 99% of them are watching this movie and doing nothing else to actually fight child trafficking. If your friend really wanted to help he would donate what he spent on the tickets to the actual charities. Seems like he is marketing for his business more than anything.

You? You said he was a MAGA guy
-
Lol this is great
-
But politics are the reason people like your friend are giving people free tickets for this movie

Peanut butter is my weakness late-night snack
TimHauck replied to Pimpadeaux's topic in The Geek Club
I know I posted this in a different thread, but it’s great: I also enjoy peanut butter. Not sure if I’d take it as the only thing on a deserted island, but it was very helpful during my wrestling weight-cutting days. -
Did they use ivermectin much in Mexico? If so, thanks for proving it doesn’t work for Covid. Great for river blindness though.

So you don’t care what people spend their money on (Sound of Freedom), but you do care what people don’t spend their money on (Bud Light)?
-
It is great advertising, and people are free to do whatever they want within the law, but it does show how stupid some right wingers are if they believe doing this is actually helping fight child trafficking. Kinda like how you think it’s stupid people are boycotting Bud Light because of a can.
-
Some libs seem to be butthurt about this, saying it should be an asterisk. But I disagree, it’s brilliant. Even more profit for the theaters if people with the free tickets don’t actually show up. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/jul/23/sound-of-freedom-qanon-movie-conspiracy-theories?CMP=share_btn_tw

Would you feel better if I said encouraging or enabling instead of “letting”? This is honestly something I’ve not really seen before to this extent. I’m being serious, it’s good marketing. Lots of righties have no issue giving away their hard-earned money “for the cause”, and lots more don’t have any.

Elemental seems to be making a bit of a comeback, as it has grossed $362 million and apparently is now the highest grossing animated Pixar film since Covid. From what I hear it’s actually a good movie. But the marketing was sh1t. Because of that it seems the marketing budget may have been lower than typical and I’ve seen several estimates that it “only” needs $400 million to break even, although of course it’s still a bit shy of that. But not a total flop like some initially thought.

I will say, this thing where they’re letting people buy tickets to give to other people is great marketing. Perfect to target all the sheep on the right.

He wasn’t in the Premier League, and wasn’t on a team at all before retiring

Is that your solution?

Lol, @Strike will get a kick out of this

He’s a senile old man that should not be President. I don’t think he’s a pedo though
-
Who said it’d be awesome? I just said it would bring awareness to the cause. That’s the goal right?
-
And yet there hasn’t been a single comment in 2+ days from righties addressing Ballard’s admission to watching thousands of hours of illegal child sexual assault material. Several commented shortly after saying that all pedos are liberals though. Is Ballard a liberal?
-
Imagine the awareness it would bring to the cause if Tim Ballard were arrested on child porn charges. Do you agree righties?

Maybe peefoam is a Roger/Horsecrap alias after all. We know he has been caught editing derogatory posts then denying it as well.

This study is using data from 2020 and 2021. I don’t recall seeing any data showing all cause mortality higher among the vaccinated, although there are various studies showing all cause mortality higher among the unvaccinated (large Hungarian study, UK ONS data, etc.) There is some data claiming to show higher Covid-specific death rates among the vaccinated, but that’s really only been since 2022 and is typically from countries with extremely high vaccination rates so the unvaccinated population can be easily confounded by things like natural immunity.
