Well we do know Butker hates gays

Do you think those that disagree with Butker “hate the nuclear family”?

Again. Butker is saying being a homemaker is better than working outside the home. Even people like @jerryskids and @nobody seem to agree with this. Those that disagree with that take are not saying one is better than the other. Hence, there is no universe where this means people that disagree with Butker “hate the nuclear family.” Especially since most definitions of a “nuclear family” don’t even specify that the mother needs to be a homemaker. To support the nuclear family, do you need to be against gays? I know @Cdub100 would agree with that, do you? And are you against IVF and surrogacy?
  5. Where did any “libs” say they don’t care about what people are dealing with? Stating facts or being surprised at these poll answers doesn’t mean they don’t care what people are dealing with. If anything, the posters here such as @edjr that are rooting for the market to crash are the ones that don’t seem to care what people are dealing with.

You keep asking who what? I agree that that article is a fair interpretation of what Butker said. I disagree that that article means the author “hates the nuclear family.” It’s hilarious to me that if we interpret Butker’s words of “being told diabological lies” about careers, “being a homemaker is one of the most important titles of all,” and his wife’s “life didn’t really start until she started her vocation as a wife and mother” as him saying being a homemaker is better than working outside of the home, somehow we’re twisting his words. But in fact you are the ones twisting words by saying if you disagree with what Butker said then you “hate the nuclear family.” Holy fock you’re a sheep. And speaking of not answering questions, are you against IVF and surrogacy?

This sounds like you’re agreeing with me. The people here that disagree with Butker aren’t saying one is better than the other. Butker is.
  8. No, it’s not. You said “all they care about is how they respond to a question.” The poll had multiple questions, and that one question isn’t all people cared about. Sure, Honcho could have used a better title. But you’re still wrong.

Do you agree that a fair interpretation of what Butker said is that he is against women working outside of the home? That is what “we” are against. “We” are not against women being homemakers, “we” are against Butker implying they should all want to be homemakers. Also, are you against IVF and surrogacy?

Please quote where in the HuffPost article it said that the author hates the nuclear family

You agreed with @Cdub100 saying this thread got to 19 pages because “liberals hate the nuclear family.” Please post evidence from this thread that that is the case.

First @Strike in Honcho’s thread, now @TBayXXXVII inserting arguments into topics they haven’t even read the details about So much for “doing your own research”
  14. Lol, did I nail it or did I nail it?
  15. Well 49% also believed the S&P 500 was down for the year, so there’s that
  16. @RLLD’s statement about racism only existing where Democrats are most dominant was not specifying “systemic”

How is that saying “the nuclear family isn’t good”?? That is what’s being taken out of context. No one here (or in that quote) is saying there is anything wrong with being a homemaker. We’re just also saying there’s nothing wrong with NOT being a homemaker. Butker is saying they should want to be homemakers. So you’re against IVF and surrogacy?

    This economy is so bad

You’re not very smart to keep bringing up Covid in an argument where the data ends in 2019
  19. Once again, I was replying to the statement that “racism is isolated to pockets where Democrats are most dominant.” Democrats are not most dominant in the rural south, and there are plenty of racists there (they’re not all racists though of course). If any of those racists are hiring managers for example then blacks could still be impacted by systemic racism in those areas.
  20. More evidence that the Geek Club can’t read. People hung up on the recession argument but 49% think unemployment is at a 50 year high??? Wtf???
  21. You said “racism is isolated to pockets where Democrats are most dominant.” I’m simply pointing out that that statement is laughably inaccurate. Add it to your recent list of similar statements.

    This economy is so bad

Well read up one post for starters. That’s a pretty important “thing”
  23. So none of the people flying confederate flags in the rural south are racist?
