Jerry, can you please clarify what you mean by this sentence? It kinda reads like you forgot the “don’t” in here, but your phrasing in this thread has been pretty horrible so I want to make sure. If it will make you feel better, I will acknowledge once again that you didn’t say it might be customary to serve prisoners margaritas, you said it might be customary to drink margaritas in general in El Salvador so because of that you thought they might have given one to a guy they called a terrorist. Which of course is still laughable, but I guess you got me!

The incident in question was recorded on audio, and there is a later full video of them “apologizing” about it. It definitely happened, the only debate is whether or not it was “a setup.” I noticed you didn’t comment about the woman that was beaten with a club. Noted. I have made previous comments about the West Bank as well. It’s not usually the IDF committing the crimes there, but the government does often enable the terrorizing that the Settlers do to the residents there. The IDF would be involved though in crimes like keeping an American citizen child imprisoned for 8 months without charge, only accused of throwing rocks. That’s nice that you like to rewrite history and imply that the West Bank should belong to Israel, but there were these things called the Oslo Accords that determined that most of it does not.

What are you referring to exactly? Did you watch the 8+ minute video? It includes audio of him talking to a soldier saying they can go through and replying yes after he asks “you’re going to move them?”

The woman isn’t American, the guy recording is. So I guess they carefully worded their statement to say they’re not aware of “an American” being wounded, as he apparently was not.

If “they” was referring to El Salvadorans, that is some piss-poor wording on your part. You said (capitalization mine) “they HAD a drink I hadn’t heard of.” Saying “had” implies you were talking about a specific instance, not just talking about a drink that’s popular in the country. And at the time, I made the comment about Bukele specifically calling them margaritas, which you didn’t respond to, only your stupid semantics argument about being “customary.” I also skimmed through some more of the responses and don’t see you acknowledging that you don’t think Abrego Garcia received an alcoholic drink. Even right here you just said: “further, as evidenced from my post I quoted, stated that I believe KAG received a margarita, or any other alcoholic drink.” Are you saying you DO believe he received an alcoholic drink? If you’re referring to an alcoholic cocktail, based on your own quote you linked to, you actually stated definitively that it happened, not even just that it was possible. For one, as has been my point all along, it’s laughable to suggest they actually gave Abrego Garcia an alcoholic cocktail. Both based on Occam’s razor, but also the multiple pieces of evidence that Senator Van Hollen provided. And as I stated following your post that you linked to, you’d also be calling Bukele a liar as he specifically called the drinks margaritas.

Or are you referring to when you said it might have been not a margarita but a different type of alcoholic drink (which of course would be more semantics)? If you are saying you don’t believe he was given an alcoholic drink at all, then I can acknowledge my W and move on, because my main point in laughing at you is if you think it’s possible Abrego Garcia was served any sort of alcoholic cocktail.
