Yup, while the US certainly made mistakes, what happened in other counties was much worse.

Well Tyson does help them obtain citizenship. But I was commenting on your false claim that all of their immigrant workers were here legally. -

Looks like 52,000 is the number of people they want to hire in total. But there is a quote in this article saying they currently employ 42,000 immigrants (doesn’t specify how many were/are illegal) and “We would like to employ another 42,000 if we could find them” https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/tyson-is-hiring-new-york-immigrants-for-jobs-no-one-else-wants/ar-BB1jGT3M -

Yea would also be an accurate interpretation of it, as is “don’t say gay” -
Jeffrey S. Morris is a statistical data scientist, professor and Director of Biostatistics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He obtained his PhD in Statistics from Texas A&M University in 2000, and worked in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center from 2000 to 2019, most recently as the Del and Dennis McCarthy Distinguished Professor of Gastrointestinal Cancer Research and Deputy Chair Nonetheless, he sticks to explaining data, he doesn’t try to explain “mechanisms of action”

Yeah that’s called capitalism. But considering many of their existing plant workers nationally are/were illegal, saving money by who they hire isn’t why this plant is closing. The article I posted had some likely factors listed: “Tyson didn't say why the Perry plant is closing. But two things stand out about the plant: its age, at 61 years for the main facility, and, according to an industry analyst, its size, which doesn't lend itself to an efficiency-increasing second shift.“
