I’m no SJP expert but I know when things are a “chapter” of a larger organization, they don’t necessarily believe the same things that other chapters do, or even the organization as a whole. Of course I’m skeptical of the claim that the national organization supports Hamas, looks like this claim is based largely on them receiving funding from other groups who may be “linked” to Hamas. That is a stretch to definitively state they “support Hamas,” but please share something more concrete if you have it. I would need to see that, or evidence of Mamdani’s chapter being pro-Hamas while he was a student there to make that determination

I respect her for going against the grain a bit recently, but is basically resigning right after starting to show a spine which is weird. Will also be 2 days after she is eligible for a pension, and has made millions on stocks.

I’ve only seen one friend (detailed in my link above) claim he was “some flavor of left wing” but not “radical” as he said that his comments were always made “in a level headed way.” Have there been other friends make similar comments or are you doing the same as @Strike and applying the thoughts of one person to multiple people?
