Interesting goalpost move. My point all along is that based on his crimes before the murder, he did not deserve to still be in jail. He served over 5 years, and his worst crime since getting out was “assault on a female” in 2021. Even if he went back to jail for that, he would have long gotten out by now.

Probably worth discussing that it sounds like his mom said his mental health issues started after he got out of prison. I know posters here will say once you’re in prison you should probably stay there for life, but a goal of prison is rehabilitation and in his case it might have made him worse.
