Honestly I was initially going to comment about the OP’s wording of “season record,” because I believe this was only a meet between 2 teams, and the “record” was simply the runner’s personal record. However a quick search reveals this runner won a girl’s state championship last year, so this is an instance where the competitive balance is being disrupted (unlike the San Jose State volleyball player for example). As far as the Signal thread, as I’ve stated in the past, my issue isn’t so much with most of the Republican politicians themselves (I wouldn’t necessarily say anyone should be fired over this, but it is amusing to watch them go into CYA mode - actually maybe Waltz should be fired given his obvious lies), it’s moreso with the hypocritical sheep that will believe everything they get from the playbook. I find it especially funny that it seems people (not necessarily here) are simultaneously arguing that the information is a nothingburger, but also that Goldberg should be prosecuted.
