Started from nothing. There are a couple interesting docs on his story. I think the first ever company to pay him to advertise gave him $1,000 and he gave it all to a homeless dude which went viral, and that kinda became his MO as it does seem he really does want to help people, and has a separate channel just for philanthropy. The Tyson thing is interesting. Basically I think “Chris” was his best friend as a kid and did help him build the channel, although obviously MrBeast did most of the heavy lifting. But MrBeast is kinda in a no win situation here, if he doesn’t put Tyson in the videos anymore he’ll get accused of betraying his best friend or being anti-trans or whatever, if he does then he gets accused of “supporting a mental illness” or “grooming kids to be trans,” especially since his channel is big with kids and it’s literally the most watched YouTube channel in the world.
