Could not agree more. DHS is out of control. The first step is to destroy our local police departments. Which the government is doing by supporting the defund the police movement already in place. Police officers around the country are either retiring early or just walking away. Recruiting is at an all time low.And who wants to be involved in no leadership from our government. The police are stretched thin worrying about doing their job. The ones that are not good cops are giving the ones give that are a bad name. . DHS police have the authority to do whatever they want and will. Exrtremist like Harris, Pelosi, and Schumer are on record for eliminating the second amendment and a mandatory buy back program for guns. DHS is getting stronger every day. Which leads to incrementalism that slowly destroys our democracy. Our country was founded on, We the people and for the people. Not, We’re the government and for the government.

It’s only going to get worse. The batteries alone cost ten grand plus. Get into a front end accident, it may take weeks to months for it to be repaired. Go online and try and find a battery and a qualified mechanic to replace it. Hybrid is the way to go. I had a Lexus that I really loved. My lady’s idiotic son wrecked into a telephone pole and ended up submerged in Bayou St. John. The only good thing that came out of it, the rental company gave us a Dodge Charger. Orange four door brand new one completely loaded. One of the funnest cars I have ever driven.

In my younger days, I was able to go to Mexico City. My three favorite things were Graciela Gutierrez, the Sun pyramid, and at the time, the world’s largest Anthropological museum. It was mostly South American artifacts. They were amazing and taught me much about life. Amazing experience.

I’m tired of trying to make others here try and understand the impact of these natural disasters and how they affect of the lives that are destroyed in every way imaginable. As someone who lived through Katrina and stayed to help rebuild our lives here, no one here has ever experienced it in real life.Yall experience it vicariously through tv, print, and worse, the internet. The lies, disinformation, and opinions from those who only have a political agenda are not helping this recovery and are only making it worse, not better. Both sides.

Now it’s really moving. I haven’t been this happy since my colonoscopy exam and MRI appointments from nurse Shankwa.
