Alice In Chains song “Rooster” is about one of the band members father who died in the Vietnam war. The Rooster was a nickname for the soldiers that carried the communication devices. Pretty powerful song when you understand the origin of the song.

Even I wouldn’t allow her to blow me even though I heard she was great at it at Brown University.
