…process my thoughts a few days ago differently than I had. First, clear your mind and close your eyes and breathe easy. Second, picture a horizontal figure eight. Think of the thoughts or things you want to see or find in your mind. Third, imagine these going around the eight. Slower when you are doing tasks that don’t require it be done immediately. But, faster in conversation. And pause when needed and break when needed. I’ve never been more focused in my life. I’m sure this technique has been common knowledge for others, but not I.

Hmmm…I double dawg dare ANY of yous to stand in the batters box against a collegiate soft ball pitcher on a f male diamond. Just get in…the box. Then get a base hit other than a bunt. It won’t fawking happen no matter what your ego tells you. I dare YOU!!! Aright! I coached girls softball at Mell Ott park for almost ten years.As they got older, the competition was fawking fierce at some of the other playgrounds. I was going up against coaches that coached HS softball and weren’t using playground hand me down equipment. I knew I needed an edge. There was a mom who signed her daughter up from the beginning with my daughter, her name was Trinity. I know her mom as, Butterface. Incredible body, smart and funny, and was always close to me. Shadow like. Anywho, I’m giving my girls an after game pep talk and giving them tomorrow’s practice time. The greatest lesson I learned was making them understand they are a band of sisters and to respect each other. After the pep talk I was packing up the gear and who’s behind me…Butterface. ME: What’s up buttercup? Butterface: My niece played for FSU and she was an all star pitcher. She teaches now but it’s $75.00 perm session. Me: That’s great. Have her come to the park at 8:00, am Saturday. And BTW, your shoes are untied. Fast forward to Saturday morning. All of my pitchers show up. A blonde (36B) walks up. Florida: Coach, let me have a moment with the girls. she teaches them the importance and fundamentals of pitching. Best money I ever spent. After, she wanted show them what they were capable of with practice. She threw like, , nine pitches with an empty batters box Florida: Get your ass up to bat. Me: I’m insane but not that insane. My girls as did their parents laugh. And not person would try.
