I decided to go to one of my favorite seafood restaurants again. My Lady Love was working. I told her hopefully I’ll be back soon. So I went to Charles 🦞Seafood. Incredible food. Walked in and was immediately being me. The waitress name was Ruth. Told her I wanted to order a go. And a beer while I was waiting.Ordered a basket of hush puppies daddy, a whole fried seafood muffelata, roast beef on french dressed with extra gravy.and BBQ blackened shrimp with Cajun grits and coleslaw. I flirted with Ruth and the hostess. Paid my freight and went home. Got home and it smelled so fawking good. Walked in the house and my three Dobermans didn’t want to go out on the front porch. I came in and paraded around with the large bag of yes please. I knocked on her office door and told her to close her eyes and don’t open them. I proceeded to walk around with our dinner. Like the Gravity cologne commercial. She played along when I walked out and said “ Where did he go? Come back!”

Just got back from my local library just a few streets down. Never been there before. As I walked in, I inhaled that smell and knowledge in my knowing how much reading is has so impacted my life. I got some Hemingway, Catcher In The Rye. Looking forward to dropping them off so I can see the young hot porky(38c)

OK. Coming from someone who has lost a few dogs in my lifetime that I had to put down, I know what you are feeling. It takes time. And time heals. Stop thinking about that last moment with her. Think about that love and moments you shared together. It gets easier with time. Your sobriety issue, I understand. That’s a tough one to explain on my end. Two and a half years means you had the desire and strength to do so. And go to a rescue shelter and get yourself a puppy, the greatest gift that keeps on giving for both of you.
