He has a real Qb and doesn’t have the pressure of being the guy anymore. Door is wide open for him to return value at his low adp.
-
You know what they say, trust the Elf and put the trophy on the shelf.
-
The pendulum could shift very suddenly if he’s good to go. I’ve been saying all off-season it makes no sense that he would not be right for a year but suddenly the exact week 1 and 2 will be the time he needs to get healthy. Makes no sense. He’s either gonna be all the way right or very suspect to start. Closer we get with better news the more I lean towards good to go. If so, people who get him round 2 and pair him with a 1st rounder who plays up to his spot will have a leg up on the competition.
-
If the cost is low sure I’ll add him to my bench. Not making him a starter though.
-
I’m not targeting a running back who’s QB is a lock for 1k on the ground and prob 10+td.

When you have Kamara, you now love to drop off passes.

It’s better all around for the team for fantasy. Dont buy into these narratives of what he did or didn’t do and who he did or didn’t throw to in Tampa bay. That’s completely irrelevant. These things are not some written in stone blueprint for him and playbooks/coaching/game plans are a huge factor in those decisions.

Head to head player bets are always fun. Or in this case, headcase to head.
-
Not worth it.

Guys in a committee can still return high RB2 value if he’s making plays and scoring. They always just write everyone off as a flex player. For example Nyheim Hines was the RB15 in ppr last season. I’ll give you time to look that up, I know it sounds crazy. JD Mckissic was the RB17. You read that right.

So I just signed up with underdog and did my first best ball draft today. 1 QB league normal scoring. 50$ 12tm..Got Henry 5th overall but thats not important. I have to talk about 3 teams of the 12 that stick out…1 guy drafted CMC and then 4 QB in a row! Look I understand best ball rules but you only get points for 1 QB my guy! Rest of his team would make you sick. 2nd guy drafted 3 QB, Lance, Fields, Teddy. What if none of those guys start soon brah?! Sure a couple will but I’m just sayin… Ok so 3rd guy I have to talk about drafted himself 1 total QB…JUST DESHAUN WATSON! My duuuuude what are you doing?! I’m of the mind he starts and plays but brooooo you feel me?

I have those fake Spock ears, that’s close enough to an elf.
-
Oh? He could miss any games from weeks 1-18 or none of them. To say otherwise is an insult to logic. He will most likely miss a couple games but I can’t say which. It’s fine to not want to risk those being in the playoffs. Last year Cook played weeks 13, 14, 15, 16 for my championship team. I can post the game logs. He missed week 17 when no leagues should be having their champ game. (Last year, so don’t pull some sneaky “week 17 is the champ game this year!”) BS. So the fact that he missed week 16 in 2019 is not your “Aha gotcha!” moment. If I draft him I’ll sacrifice a goat and bathe in chicken blood to ensure he plays the last half of the season. If he doesn’t it’s your fault.
-
Complete nonsense, he could play all year or miss games at any point, there’s absolutely nothing that says he will specifically miss games playoff time. I’m dead wrong and apologize for thinking I was correcting you there. It was 8 receiving tds.
-
You can’t know which games Cook misses. He could miss 3 games early, mid, late or never. Ekelers career high for rushing TDs is 8, not 3. If you try to say you meant season high last year, he only played a handful of meaningful games so it’s about as relevant as your “Uzomah was top 5 ppg last year (he played 2 games)” argument. Your insight and opinions are good, the cases you use to make them are consistently trash. Clean it up or it’s back on the shelf!
-
Hearing it’s unlikely he makes it back for the season so you can pretty much count him out.
-
There’s zero chance an RB who showed that can have a big season last year and is now poised to take a large workload is available rnd5 and even rnd4 will be a stretch but also good value.
-
Swift now iffy for start of the season. May miss game or be eased in.
-
You are as wise as your ears are pointy.

Yea he’s done, that’s huge for Robinson.

I’ll stick with MANY, because it’s many every year. I didn’t contradict anything, my closing sentence simply told you that I don’t apply that to every public opinion and it’s a case by case basis. Had nothinfg to do with the opening sentence. So I’m not “one of those” with your TV analogy. I’m not trying to prove the Davinci code to you, I’m just saying how I felt. I don’t need to “correlate” anything, I can just say “I have a gut feeling people are wrong about this guy.” and that’s all I need to say to have an opinion. FF is all about gut feelings, speculation, educated guessing etc in the name of trying to find value at adps. -

What I mean is In FF, every year, MANY players that were doubted end up studs and MANY players that were considered studs bust hard. When public perception starts to swing poorly too far I begin to think that player could now be a value at his adp and even surprise people by exceeding expectations. This is a case by case basis and not universal. -
Yea that’s over. Question is where can you reach for him now as a depth add.
-
Zach Wilson: 137.7 passer rating this preseason, 1st among all QBs Start carving the HoF bust now.

It’s not universal, It’s case by case. In certain cases I feel the public opinion has swung too far the other way making that player a potential value.
