Tell her. It's better she knows that you did find it. (a typo... even newspapers and magazines have them - same with factual errors) However late you think it may have been, it'd be worse if someone brought it to her attention somehow and she then thinks you a.) never saw it/caught it or worse, b.) you saw/caught it and tried to "get away with something." No matter how good any professional is at his/her job, mistakes do happen. I would much rather someone was able to admit theirs, and fix them then have some Eddie Haskell guy telling me all is well and reporters/customers/co-workers etc saying otherwise. Ask yourself this... If she somehow found these two errors and came to you about them, what would your response be then? How bad is the typo? They happen, even on the most professional of productions. The factual error may be more egregious, I don't know, but telling her and fixing it quickly would be better than letting it stand.

Quite honestly, in the $100 - $200 range you are not going to find a whole lot of difference. I had a Nikon Cool Pix 4 or 5 years ago that was a great camera for basic photo taking etc and it was about $250 then. That included the memory card, and a bunch of stuff for it. The Cool Pix models are really user friendly, and there are a variety of them that you can probably find in that price range. I got what I thought was a better camera about a year ago after my sister dropped, and broke my Nikon. It's a 5 mega pixel Kodak with 10x zoom. I really wish I'd waited, saved a bit more and got a nice one with changeable lenses etc. For basic photo taking of kids, events etc... I don't see that much difference between a 3mp and a 5mp camera. But if you want to be able to do anything with the photos... wait, spend $700 - $900 and get a really good one. I could sell you a really nice 5mp 10x zoom Kodak Easy Share for $200 or so. This is what I got... it sells (or sold for about $300 - $350)

If it is a bit of torn cartilege, you may want to get it checked before it catches and either does more damage or locks your knee up. Even if it's better tomorrow. Cartilege can catch here and there for a while before it snags really good, or tears further.

How's the knee doing? Despite the plethora of knee injuries/problems I have had, I have no idea what would cause this type of pain, for this amount of time. Possible there's a shard of cartilege that's catching occaisionally, but if it hurts for a couple of hours it's not likely a ligament or muscle. My completely unedjumacated, personal experience only opinion is that you've got a slight tear in your medial meniscus. I'm out of large anotomical words now. Wish I could help more.

I've often wondered if people do this, and figured that some probably do. I've purchased 2 items off eBay. The first was an ok deal, but the seller took forever to finally ship it. The second time I got ripped off on a Palm Pilot and decided I was done buying sight unseen from anonymous strangers somewhere in cyberspace. I'd rather pay a bit more to know what I'm getting.

When I lived at 26th and Lyndale, CC Club was far more dump than punk or funk. I guess it's changed since the mid 80s.

I work in Bloomington. No geeks allowed. I've always thought of Bloomington as more of an older (middle ageish and up) more settled, and white collar community, but I guess I'm really only thinking of east Bloomington. The west side is pretty swank and more diverse in age. Don't live by MOA though. Our office is in that vicinity, and I swear the planes are so damn loud when they're landing at MSP that sometimes I am convinced that they are going to land on the roof.

Eden Prairie is a sprawling, clusterfock of a city in the 3rd ring of suburbs around Minneapolis. The traffic has been horrific because the sprawl has not been matched with improvements/enlargements of the highway system. One highway has been widened in the past year (494 is now 4 lanes) but 169 is 2 lanes, with stoplights on the southern end before it connects to the bridge over the river. For recent college grads, I guess I'd say South Minneapolis, near the University, Hopkins, or a variety of other places. there aren't clear cut neighborhoods around here the way there are in Chicago. Depending on your price range, if you want easy access to downtown Mpls and don't want a hellishly long commute, stick with South Minneapolis (stay south of Lake Street & west of Lyndale Ave) Hopkins, St Louis Park (The new Excelsior and Grand complex in St Louis Park seems to have a lot of younger people and is a hop - skip and a jump from Uptown.) Igloos are pretty cheap this time of year.

Take it to Batteries Plus. They'll take it apart, replace the innards, and bam - new battery. The mechanics who worked for my ex used to swear by them. They cost less than a replacement pack, and they can "re-do" or replace the inner batteries and wiring stuff. It's like $10 - $20 to do them depending on the size.

So the puppy will be alone for 8 - 10 hours a day right off the bat? Is there anyone who could stop by your place during the day? You can try, depending on the size of the dog, using a dog's litter box and keep them kenneled in an area large enough for it to get up, walk to the litter box and use it. If you crate them all day they get accustomed to having to lie in their own stuff and then you get the poop rootin dog that rolls in other dog's poop.
