Thankfully my RBs are so horrific (Hiil, Rawls, Duke Johnson, new pickup D. Washington) that I will be playing Hill every single week.

Looking for a good site to get breaking NFL news (like today's Abdullah and Peterson news) via text. A Twitter feed would be OK *if* it doesn't send me a bunch of other garbage. A good iPhone app would also work. The main thing is it has to be timely - finding out news an hour later than everybody else in the league won't work.

Bingo. I could just get notifications from FFToday but they often are that timely, and most others like Schefter or Rotworld send a lot of junk along with the good info.

I'm going to start using movie titles for team names ... This year's entry "Tony Romo's Day Off." Other past and present possibilities "Donald Taxi Driver", "Singing in the Rainey", "Reuben Randle Without a Cause."

For someone with J Hill, Rawls, and Duke Johnson as RBs (in other words, totally f*****), Washington is a decent and necessary lottery pick for me.

Could be worse ... my choices were Luck and Winston. Bad week for me either way.

Last year when I won my championship was pure skill. This year, staring at 1-1 and a weak-ass core of RBs, luck has once again become part of the game.

So my drafted team with Romo as my starter and Kap as the backup I'm going to finish the season with no QB? No thanks. Hell, NFL teams pick up free agents all the time, and a few of them turn out to be pretty good.

A few years ago we switched from a "worst record first" WW ordered to a rolling WW (does not reset). I think this is much better, but some think the worst teams should get a "break." Opinions differ, I guess.

Bingo. My QB (Romo), RB1 (Le'Veon), and WR1 (Cobb) all disappointed. I did get lucky with Hopkins and Marshall, but I won my league due to the WW.

Even for those who drafted late, most considered The Beard to be a crappy QB. Fitz turned out to be underrated, as did Marshall.

12 team redraft, 4 man bench: Drew Brees - WW pickup after an owner got nervous when he hurt his shoulder. Eyed up sweet Week 15 and 16 matchups and Drew came through. Helped me overcome loss of Romo. David Johnson, Darren McFadden - two more WW pickups helped me after a poor draft and loss of Le'Veon. Johnson literally saved my season in Week 15 semis. Brandon Marshall, DeAndre Hopkins - dominating performances with a bargain draft day price. Too bad I won't get them as cheap next year.

It was between a hurt Baldwin and a healthy Cobb for me. Once Baldwin was declared active I decided to stick with him, and so far I'm happy I did so.

Well, I'm sure glad I didn't play Tyrod, he really shat the bed today. Hopefully good things come from Brees.

Glad it worked out for your buddy ... but it would have been funny if his team had a late scratch and he had to pick up a total crap WW guy to fill the spot. I like the move but I'd probably keep a bench spot or two for an emergency fill-in. BTW in my league I'm pretty sure any player held less than a day goes right back to a free agent, reduces the possibility of churning.
