LT2 has been downgraded quite a bit by the fantasy community (Week 9 - 18th average by CBS experts, 17th by ESPN), and it's sad to see that those projections now seem way too optimistic. Chances are my #1 pick (8th overall) will be on the bench the rest of the year.

I informally floated an offer of Dwayne Bowe (a receiver I don't need anymore) for LT2. The LT2 owner acted annoyed and apparently expects much more than what I offered, though Bowe has doubled LT2's points so far and LT2 may never score another touchdown the way he looked yesterday. So what's Tomlinson really worth? What RB or WR would you offer for him at this point?

Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Kansas City are among the dregs of the NFL. Romo only gets minimal credit for these victories. Against better teams (NYG and Denver) Romo had QB ratings of 29.6 and 67.1. He did much better against Atlanta (141.6 rating). Upcoming games with Philly, Green Bay, Washington, NYG, and New Orleans will do a good job defining Romo's value.

Yes it is. Last year I led my 12-team league in points (1293, next closest was 1248) but finished 5-7-1 and missed the 6-team playoffs. Last team in had only 1104 points but a 7-6 record. Screw the points, give me wins anytime.

Rookie WR. Coming off reconstructive knee surgery. Still on the PUP. Still behind Moss and Welker. WR3 numbers would be a miracle this year. Worth a look in dynasty or extraordinarily deep redraft leagues only.

I guess if you are in a league where a 3rd WR with a max of 40-something yards per week is useful, or if you get individual return yardage points and have a deep deep bench to stash this guy, then go for it. Nothing much to see here for standard 12-team leagues.

In 2008 I decide after a week or two that Larry Johnson is done. I work out a trade to get Matt Forte. I'm happy with the trade, the other owner is happy, but since CBFalcon and some other owners don't think it's "even" the trade gets shot down. Thanks a lot.

So in your all-knowing, all-seeing universe you "know" that DWill will be better than Brown by the end of the year? And you "know" that Royal will end up better than Chambers, though both have underachieved so far. Did you "know" in 2008 that Turner and Forte would be Top 5 RBs, Slaton would be a Top 10 RB, that Roddy White and Antonio Bryant would be Top 10 WRs? God I'd be pissed if I had done a trade for one of these guys and you vetoed it because you "knew" that my Larry Johnson or Braylon Edwards were much better than the above based on their ADP. Geez would it suck playing in your league, every trade having to undergo your minute analysis to guarantee that the competitive balance of the league is maintained. But why stop there? Do you also analyze add/drops? Roy E. Williams was dropped in my league this week, would you permit that? How about setting lineups? Would you force a team with Hasselbeck and Roethlisberger to start Hass since he is higher in the ESPN / CBS rankings? Or like others said this has to be a joke, as no non-newbie owners would put up with your meddling. (Note: I'm not part of the "every trade goes through" crowd - but a trade would have to be really wacky for me to consider a veto. The above trade doesn't even merit a look.)

Owners may not pay much more due to a big week, but you sure will get a lot more interest after a big week (or a lot less after the Seahawks and Burleson laid an egg yesterday). Test the waters with Roddy or Ocho first, as said Burleson is undervalued.

I can't believe that the Chiefs would let Bowe go for anything other than a 1st. He was a #1 pick who has pretty much justified his draft position, and is now entering his prime. Bowe for a #2 and #5 sounds goofy.

Interesting. I just traded Mendenhall and Davis as well, got back Dwayne Bowe and Cadillac Williams. As I've already got Benson riding my bench, Mendenhall was expendable.

I need a RB for this week, have a WR surplus, and just traded Megatron for Mendenhall. Now one a55hole is posting on the league message board saying "veto this trade."

The Tennessee DEF kept the team in games in the past. Unfortunately they aren't doing so this year. As far as VY, the Vince Young Experiment is already a Fail. The day VY gets the starting gig back CJ3 will see his value take a big hit. I would probably do a Brown for CJ3 trade in a keeper league, unless I really needed Ronnie to win this year. In redraft leagues Ronnie no contest.
