Russian casualties as of Dec 18, 2025: 1,193,300 Even if ya estimate only 20% fatalities (the rest horribly wounded).... that's 238,660 dead soldiers. I certainly don't care about them, but apparently neither does Putin. A quarter million of his own people. Very Stalin of him.

Apparently my Big Brother theory didn't hold up. According to the news-ies it was much simpler (of course)... Detectives thought "Where would a drug addict, who just murdered, go? I know - to buy drugs! Let's stake out known dealer locations." Wallah. -
I'd lean Nix. Still don't trust the rookie.
-
I'd agree. Currently Rb 21 ppg, but he started slow.
-
Actually, Barkley is Rb 14 ppg in ppr (pts per gm seems the fairest way to compare). His adp was Rb 2. To anyone who drafted him that high, I can understand feeling like Rb 14 is a bust... but some drafters got screwed over even worse ... Jefferson / Thomas.

Iraq had Sunnis and Shiites in-fighting, ISIS formation, and skyrocketing unemployment many of whom were former soldiers which Bush Jr. made the disastrous decision to disband. It was a powder-keg. I don't think it'd take much to help Venezuela get back on track. Most Venezuelans despise Maduro and his predecessor Chavez anyway. Not saying we should or shouldn't go to war (probably not)... but it's certainly a different situation than Iraq.

Yeah, not a word about it from any of the major news sites ... BBC, AP, etc. Who knows. All ya keep reading and hearing about is "negotiations on a peace deal" with Ukraine, Europe and the US, but it feels like everyone is just spinning their wheels. Russia should happily accept ANY deal presented, but I get the sense Putin won't accept anything short of total capitulation. He needs the war to remain in power (and alive). I don't think Putin would have even accepted the previous one-sided deal created by Russia and presented by Trump. It had everything Russia could possibly hope for, and I still don't think Putin would've accepted. I expect the war will continue throughout 2026 and beyond.

Missed too many games to injury to qualify.

After losing Mahomes... I'll be hitching my wagon to Jacoby JaJuan Brissett the rest of the way! Gonna lead me to the promise land. Thus I'm happy to know Harrison is about to return. The more weapons the better.

Not that it matters, but ya wonder... when they arrested him while walking along the side of the street at night - what exactly prompted that? Did a citizen recognize him and call ? Doubtful Did a cop just happen to see him and recognized him based on description/picture from the hotel video ? Unlikely but possible Taking on his phone and got triangles with cell towers ? More likely Or was it a computer facial recognition program linked to all the street cameras ? Seemed pretty quick for a random location - not a friend or relatives house, but the street.?. -

I thought the same. "Hey, let's bring Nick to the big celebrity party - our weird druggie son who's known to be dangerous and irritable. Great idea!" -
"They can't cut Tua, his contract is too big." Everyone said the same about Russel Wilson, and look at Denver now. Idiot fans knew drafting Tua over Herbert was moronic. Idiot fans knew signing Tua to a long-term deal was insane. Yet the former GM Grier who got paid multi-millions and amazingly kept his job for TEN YEARS with absolutely nothing to show for it, disagreed. Cut Tua. Fire the capri-wearing fruit loop McDaniel. And hope Father Time remembers 85 yo owner Stephen Ross is still sucking wind. Go dolphins

Would've added Most Disappointing Sleeper, but only allowed three questions. Candidates like: Diggs, Addison, Burden, etc. For me it was Tank Bigsby. Predicted he'd take over Jags backfield and become a fantasy monster. Doh!

Per Youtube vid, here's an estimated timeline if anyone cares. Goes to party Saturday night. Acts like a weirdo - not dressed up (no suit like others) and harasses celebs. Fights with parents. Parents leave (unknown when or if he went too). 11:15 pm he's walking a few blocks from the home - AWAY from the home. 4 am checks into beach hotel about a mile from home. Leaves hotel in morning without checking out. Hotel staff finds blood in shower and in the bed. Bodies found at 3:30 pm by daughter who says Nick probably did it. Arrested at 9 pm on the street about 5 miles from hotel. ........................... Sounds like he did the deed Saturday night. Unexplained why it took 5 hours for a 1 mile walk to the hotel. Also unknown if he liked the hotel and if he'd recommend it to other murderers and tourists. -
MNF Discussion: Dolphins @ Steelers - Week 15

Please, for the love of God.... FIRE MIKE MCDANIEL !!! Dolphin fans have suffered long enough. -
I don't post nearly as much anymore because of the constant bickering. Don't know when the forum became overly political, but it wasn't always this way. I drop by occasionally when a major event happens to see what the Geeks think ... but no matter the topic: "Trump's fault - Obama's fault - Magatard - Libtard, etc." Sucks the life out of ya. Mike needs a Political Forum for all the extremists, and leave the Geek Club for the rest of us who don't take politics too seriously and prefer intelligent discussions. I miss the old Geek Club.

Nick Reiner's bail - $4 mil on double-murder by stabbing.?. I know it's California and all, but any bail on those charges seems ridiculous. On the flip side, I remember Michael Jackson's doctor got NO BAIL, because the judge called him "a menace to society." What was he gonna do? Give someone else sleeping narcotics.?. Makes no sense. -
I just feel robbed when good musicians die. I obviously wasn't around with Richie Valens died, but the kid was only 17 yo and already had written a ton of hits. He clearly had a lot more great songs in him that we'll never get to hear. I feel the same about Sublime's lead singer. We were robbed.

I loved Spinal Tap and thought everyone else did too until I once mentioned it to a friend, who didn't care for it. I then realized the subtle humor was lost on many low-brow audiences like my idiot friend. Nice guy, but ... not too smert. -

A former President did something scummy, so don't criticize other Presidents for being scummy - that's your logic.?. You should criticize ANY President who acts like a jackass - Clinton should've been removed from office for lying under oath about it (got disbarred for that), but regardless it showed his poor character and it opened him up to blackmail. I didn't care for everything Obama did either. But Trump is the biggest jackass off all time. It's ok to call out your guy when it's deserved. -

J-B Weld Putty - $5 stocking stuffer.... every man should have this in the tool box. Fixes everything. Putty to fit any size and cures in an hour. Glue it? Screw that - JB Weld it. I've used it to fix EVERYTHING. From tiny to large. Plastic to metal. Does it all. Mechanic In A Bottle - weed-wacker/blower/mower won't start ? - use this. I used to throw away the old machines, til someone recommended this. Unbelievable. Just prime it through carburetor... let sit a few hours... drain. WORKS LIKE NEW. Impressive Daiwa BG 3500 spinning reel - friend's wife asked me to recommend a reel today. I'd told her to go with this. 3500 perfect size - not dinky, not bulky. Fresh/salt... solid reel. I got one. Jackery 1000 Portable power. Got one a few years back - love it. Mostly use for tailgating, but it'll run a full size fridge a few hours. Basically a silent generator. Bias Lighting I don't own this yet, but will soon. Makes a soft white glow behind TV / monitor. Looks cool, supposedly enhances viewing, and reduces eye strain. What yall got?

If I remember right it was $19.99 years back. Guess the price went up. If I didn't already have them, I'd still pay it. Once you've got one, ya realize how nice it is. Especially being in Florida.

How often does a QB throw an interception and then a fumble on the same play?
GobbleDog replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Jags are 9-4 ... yet 19-1 SuperBowl odds. Apparently nobody's buying Trevor Lawrence who's passer rating ranks 29th in the league, despite being the 5th highest paid player in the NFL.
