Dang. That sucks for her, her family, and you. My condolences. -
How often does a QB throw an interception and then a fumble on the same play?

Portable Fan $27 ... Sounds dumb I know. What's great about a fan? My wife bought this before a hurricane last year worried she'd sweat all night without power. It's rechargeable so no power needed. Charges with a USB-C (same as all modern Iphones). On low it'll run for 8+ hours. Puts out good air, but not too noisy and very light. Wife loved it so much, we bought a couple more. Keeps one in her bathroom, I keep one on my desk, gave the other to the kid for camp or whatever. Has a hook to hang wherever and a light (which I never use). We now always take one on trips - beach, camping, cookouts (keep bugs off food), etc. It's cheap and worth every penny.

Hoped somebody would thank me for posting this. Wish I'd known. I've been buying TroyBlt piece of crap weed-wackers every 2-3 years for the past couple decades. Took the first one in to get it fixed, but the dude said it'd cost more to fix than to buy a new one. So I just threw it away. Recently when yet another one died, I decided I was gonna figure out how to clean the damn carburetor no matter what. Found lots of Youtube sites showing how to take apart a carb UGH. Small parts. Then I stumbled on a site showing how Mechanic In A Bottle fixed engines - all types from wackers, to mowers, to wood chippers. Anything that won't crank up because of a clogged carb. I figured it was probably just snake oil, but the Youtuber seemed sincere and it was cheap - so what the hell. I'm telling ya that old wacker that wouldn't crank no matter what - STARTED UP LIKE IT WAS BRAND NEW - first pull. I was stunned. I can't recommend this stuff enough.

According to Project Farm (youtube tester - great site).... Topec makes the best screw extractor, but I've never used it. I usually just take a drill to the screw until it disintegrates.

I worked with a closet gay dude years back... everyone in the office knew, but he never did mention it. If he had I was gonna say... "well duh." When he asked how I knew I'd go with: No kids, never married. Your favorite tv show is Sex in the City. You love Disney World. You compliment peoples clothes - even other dudes. You're a staunch Democrat. And the final straw - you have a Pet Shop Boys cd in your car.

I thought it was a joke when I first heard this. Rivers? Was Dan Marino too busy?

Down by 10 with 4 sec left. If they throw a Hail Mary, time definitely expires. Theoretically, if they kick a field goal and 1 sec remains, they could recover on the onside kick and have a Hail Mary shot - as clock doesn't start until receiving team touches the ball. As for the delay-of-game penalty which set up the kick... the tackler CLEARLY held the defender down an extra second or two on purpose to drain the clock. It was the correct call. But never-mind all that ... "it's rigged."

Never finished Boardwalk Empire. It was sorta interesting, but ... the pc-ness - ugh. I'm not even political, but jeesh. Ya know which character is gonna die next? Just wait until someone disparages - an Asian, Jew, injun, black, beats up a woman, or hurts an animal. They'll be dead by the end of the next episode. It became laughably predictable.

Already searched Reddit for "heroin addicted musicians." Nothing. Either heroin isn't popular anymore or they hide it really well. Bastards. -

Someday there's going to be a global virus that's much deadlier and contagious. Unfortunately too many governments and media outlets cried wolf on Corona so they might not get as much compliance next time, when it's actually needed. -

Done!!! Time to sit back and collect my trophies. I wish them all good health... until 12:00 am Jan 1, 2026. -
Nice. I have a couple. Handy for topping off tires before a trip, bike tires and inflating basketball. One tip though... the motors in those things tend to be cheap and can overheat/melt when inflating a totally flat car tire - I killed the first one I had. Now I only let it run a few minutes at a time before letting it cool down.

Wait, CBS now allows decimal kicking points? My Commish said they didn't, though maybe he hasn't bothered to check in a few years. Please reply because I'm about to make an angry phone call.

Got one who has his own Wiki page, but they list a couple of birth years because it's uncertain. Google searches show the same. I'll let you decide if it hits ... err kicks. -

Got my list ready to go. The bell tolls for thee! Any entry fee or is just bragging rights? -
We do the standard 3, 4, and 5 pts.... I wish CBS allowed the decimal points. Can't understand why they don't - seems like an easy add. But I stupidly talked my Commish into doing a 10 point bonus on top the 5 pts for 60+ yarders. We added that rule a decade ago when it almost never happened. But even then I've regretted it ever since. There's enough dumb luck in fantasy football already. Why should a 59 yarder get 5 points, but a 60 yarder get 15 points.?. That's ridiculous. I've tried to have the rule removed, but nobody will budge on it. My own damn fault.

Still alive, but started with 18... down to 6. Ain't no Championship til Week 17. My team improved a lot over the past couple weeks. Down to only $45 in Fab, but better to spend it than get cut. Added Josh Allen today for my last big free agent purchase... $130. Surprised I got him. Adams vs Pickens... I'd go Adams... rankings agree - Adams (6), Pickens (8).

50 movies. Give yourself one point for each you have seen.

The closing scene reveals "Rosebud." It was an odd movie. The plot seemed a bit convoluted, but Orson Welles was really good. Welle's was truly a good performer, back in an era where everyone just played over-the-top corny, he actually acted. Don't see a lot of that in old black and whites. One of his best performances - Touch of Evil. -

I like Kubrik too, but Clockwork came off as strange, for the sake of being strange. After watching it I read some reviews and there's people who still rave about it talking about the deep messages about society and whatnot. I wonder - if they watched it for the first time today, didn't know it was by Kubrik, and didn't know it was a "cult classic", would they really be raving? I highly doubt it. It's like the Mona Lona painting - if ya didn't know it was considered a masterpiece or who painted it, would you really consider it great art... or would it just be another old boring painting? At least I crossed Clockwork off the list in my quest to see every "classic." -
Two pedophiles sitting on a porch when a good looking 18 yo girls walks by. One pedo says "man, I bet she was hot when she was young!"

Haven't seen most of those made after 2000. Not into comic movies, or any of that crap. I prefer old-time movies, even though I'm from the 70's. Last week I finally got around to watching Stanley Kubrik's famous film - A Clockwork Orange .... A rapist/bully/thief goes to prison and gets "special medical treatment" to convert him to good. He gets out, gets beat up, and tries to kill himself... the end. If you've never seen it, DON'T. What a piece of crap. How is that considered a famous cult classic? Guess it had shock value in the 70's, but today it's garbage. If I had to pick an old timey movie to recommend - Das Boot. I recommended it to my nephew recently because he's into old timey movies as well. Came back raving about it. It's a true work of art.
