Judging from those images of buildings leveled, surprising they only report a few thousand. I could see 10's of thousands. Not picking a side, just say'n.

Cool, but nearly half are are temporarily wounded... soon back at the front line - to face more cluster munitions.

Rufus -vs- Dufus

I would've guessed 99%, but the question was "completely opposed". Pretty sure a "support gay rights" question would've received less than 1%.

The best way to deal with tunnels is secure a few entrances and pump in ... poison gas. Just don't use Zyklon B.

Strange game. McCaff fumbles away promising drive. Niners miss field goal. Addison steals easy Int and takes it to the house. Most impressive Vikings o-line holding up. Cousins looks good like usual. As does Purdy - making deep accurate throws. Fun game to watch.
-
This has blood bath written all over it. I can't find anything to make me want to back the Vikings. I foresee Cousins getting pressured, hit, and sacked all night long. With JJ out Viking's best strategy is to kill the clock running the ball, hoping to keep it close. But that's not gonna work well with Viking's poor run game vs the #3 rush defense. On the flip side, Niners should have no trouble moving the ball against Min's mediocre D. It's gonna take a perfect game from Min, along with some Niners turnovers, to cover. And they've been far from perfect all season. I hate the Niners and enjoy rooting for Vikings, but I wouldn't back Min here even if the spread was +14.

I've never "blocked" anyone in all my 20+ years here. But the name-calling/b*tch slapping in this one thread makes me seriously reconsider that policy. I want to read intelligent/thoughtfull posts. Not that garbage.

Where do you plan on putting them? Concentration camps? I thought maybe Israel should open up to taking injured people into their hospitals... but where do they go once healed? Concentration camps? I guess there's no good solution. That 24 hour get-out mandate ended last Saturday, so they've given them an extra week. Apparently some Israeli special forces entered last week just to survey the area. Sounds like the real invasion should start any day now. Hope it doesn't interfere with my football weekend. Go Air Force!

The stat line will make Lawrence look good, but watching the game.... lots of short passes. Doesn't seem to connect much/hardly at all with anything deeper than 15 yards. All his throws to Ridley were more like jump balls into double coverage. Also seems Trevor has happy feet. That's good sometimes and he had some good runs, but sometimes it looked like he gave up on the play rather quick. Just my observation.

Another Saints drive... another punt. Making Jags pass defense look good.... the squad that's 2nd to last in the NFL. Wow.
-
The last Saints drive started out promising... but then 3rd and 3.... deep pass for some reason? Incomplete. Go for it on 4th... Carr dang near throws a pick, but turnover on downs regardless. Saints have to try something else because between Carr and the playcalling, it's getting ugly. Some Tay Hill gimmick stuff couldn't hurt.
-
Jags 14, Saints 3 Marched down the field fast - big run by Lawrence (so much for knee sprain) and big run by Ettienne. Saints need to show some life before game gets out of hand. Let's see if Carr can make something happen.
-
Jags 7, Saints 3 Saints are lucky to have two turnovers or they'd be getting stomped. Carr hasn't been able to capitalize. His throws have been inaccurate and looks a bit indecisive (like that goal line opportunity).
-
Raiders/Bears. Both team owners secretly hope to lose it. Hard to cap.
-
I don't think Lawrence's injury will hinder him much being it's only a sprain, rather than strain -- there's a difference. Also it's his left knee and he's a righty. When it's righty-righty... it ain't alrighty. See Joe Burrow. So Jags will probably score, but on the flip side the Jags have the 2nd worst passing defense in the league. So the Saints should also sprinkle points. But David Carr.... the King of Pedestrian stats. He's only thrown 2 Tds once in six games this year. Sounds like the Carr we've all learned to know. There's also some o-line issues for both sides. Considering everything.... I like the over, but just barely. I prefer Jags in a teaser +7.5. Saints have only blown out one team - Patriots. Their other two wins... 1 pt over Titans, 3 pts over Panthers.... that's David Carr for ya.

Never heard of a player returning the same year from an achilles. Then again, it's never a Qb who does it week 1. Have no clue what his chances are of returning... my guess 1%. If he were a Rb or WR, it'd be 0%. And his career would be effectively over, even if he was young. The achilles is the grim reaper. But immobile old Qbs like Rodgers can probably still play.... next year.
-
I thought he'd be great too, four weeks ago. What the hell? Why did it take injuries for him to get on the field ? My hunch... piss poor pass blocking. Haven't heard anything so it's a total guess, but it's the only thing that makes sense.

The NFL announced Germany will host a regular-season game each of the next four seasons.
GobbleDog replied to Baker Boy's topic in FFToday Board
Ya think American movies are for America? Nope, the entire world consumes our movies. Maybe American music is for America... nope, it's the world's music. Can't we at least have our own sport? The Euro trash love soccer. Let's leave it at that. Germany. Bunch of Rommel loving duck steppers. -
Wow, Bears really needed to see if Fields was worth keeping. What the hell are they supposed to do if he's out for the season, and they get a top 3 draft pick? This is supposedly one of the most loaded Qb classes in years. Daaaa Bears

Starting Evans over Roschon Johnson and Gus Edwards... better known as Rufus & Dufus.

Raiders & Bucs finish with a combined total of 7 wins. Ya don’t sign Garoppolo and Mayfield unless you’re serious about full tank mode. - I still say Raiders suck, but Mayfield has impressed. This prediction was trash. Nico Collins (Wr 53) finishes top 25. Cooks left town and 3rd year Collins steps up with a massively upgraded team. Currently ranked 11th Justin Herbert will break Manning’s single season passing record of 5,477 yds. After playing with broken ribs, bruised sternum and torn labrum (still passing 4,700+) Herbert is finally healthy. The old dink and dunk OC is gone replaced by high-flying Kellen Moore. On pace for 4,532... Still think he gets 5,000+ and the prediction isn't officially dead. I believe! George Pickens scores more fantasy points than Dionte Johnson. Though both unreliable due to pathetic Qb. Diontae just isn’t a #1 Wr. Would've nailed this even without Johnson's injury. Too easy. Sam Howell (Qb 29) finishes top 15. Josh-Allen-Lite is flying under everyone’s radar, but won’t be after this year. Currently ranked 12th. Suck it! Miami Dolphins replicate ’72 Dolphins by going undefeated. 2023 is forever known as Year of the Fish. Undefeated was a stretch, but it's definitely been the Year of the FISH! I'll take it! ...................................................................... 4-1 with 1 pending. I done good.

Chargers coaching seat just got a little hotter.
-
My instinct is to say Dak... but he's actually looked decent tonight. Credit Chargers defense for getting pressure and stopping the run. Didn't think they could.
-
When Mike Williams went down, I figured Quentin Johnston would be a good pickup. Ya know, the Chargers 6'4" 1st round pick... He's got 1 target for nothing tonight and hasn't done much all season either. Don't know if he's a poor route runner or what the deal is, but clearly has zero chemistry with Herbert.
