What are the dumbest rules in sports?

Continuing to run in the NFL, after the player falls down. The whole nature of the game is to be upright. Once you're, down you're down. What difference does it make if he's touched ? Not even tackled... touched. "He wasn't touched!!! Run!!! Oh wait, the opponent's pinky finger just barely grazed him... ok he was ***officially down***. Does the opponent's shoe-lace count? What about long hair? SO STUPID. Down is down. College has it right.

    Ukraine - Doomsday

Can you imagine the sounds inside that Russian tank while being hit with all those rounds? Had to scare the ever living sh*t out of the crew. Even if the smaller rounds didn't do any major damage, it's be impossible to keep your cool under intense fire. Gives Ukraine time to deliver the final big hit destroying them. Cool video.

    Gabe Davis Fantasy Outlook

Bills can't afford to match any offers, so he's gone. Probably do better without a Qb who runs every other play, designed or not. Happy Feet isn't a great recipe for deep target Wrs which take time to set up.

    Youtube is destroying your CPU

I saw this topic on Reddit, but ... I haven't noticed any problems. And I Youtube a lot, with AdBlock Plus. About three months ago for the first time ever I got the message "You must disable your ad blocker to watch"... no way to get beyond that message. So I disabled my AdBlock. Then a few days later, I enabled it again and it worked fine... for about a week or so. Then I got message again. So I disable, and a few days later, I enable and it works fine. Obviously there's a cat and mouse game going on between Youtube and AdBlock. Regardless, my AdBlock is working now and when I click on a Youtube link... yeah, my CPU goes up 15% for a mili-second... then back down to 2-5% and stays there. So it isn't "destroying my cpu". Then again, I have a fairly decent cpu (Ryzen 7 3800x). Also don't experience any buffering issues - videos are always smooth.

    Your Playoff Predictions

Nobody hates Dallas more than me and I bad-mouthed Dak Prescott all off-season, but after watching several of their final games, I think this could be their year. Even when Dallas lost to my Dolphins 3 weeks ago, it wasn't Prescott's fault. Dude was making beautiful throws - threading needles, perfect fade passes, good decisions. SuperBowl LVIII: Cowboys vs Ravens I'll take Cowboys and the points.

    Was the 2020 election stolen?

Trump did some things I liked, and a lot of things I despised, but this was the absolute worst. Convincing Americans and much of the world that U.S. elections are illegitimate. Drive through some red-neck towns and you'll still see "Trump Won" flags still flying. Putin absolutely loves it... Russian elections are of course totally rigged and Russians know it, but this makes it more palatable to them. It implies "see, democracy doesn't work. They're equally as corrupt." I used to say Obama was the worst President I ever had in my lifetime, but Trump has taken over that position - and I voted for that piece of garbage. I can admit when I'm wrong. Way wrong.

Do you really use the "Ignore User" function?

After 20+ years here, I added my first and only ignore the other day. Won't mention name. Got tired of reading the same uninteresting (politically charged) garbage, over and over. I only wish the ignore function would also delete their threads, instead of just posts.
  8. Mexico and Venezuela are your counter examples? How about comparison with other first world countries like Canada, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Japan, etc. ?
  9. I only watched him in one game this year... can't remember which one. But me and my friends felt the same way - very underwhelmed.
  10. Other countries have criminals who don't care about laws. Why don't they have horrid gun violence rates?

  12. Every other first world country must have an intolerable amount of gun tragedies since they all have strict gun control. Yet they don't. Let's see if we can find a correlation... the U.S. has the highest gun violence/mass shooting rates of every first world country.... the U.S. has the most liberal gun laws of every first world country. Hmmm, what could it possible be? So perplexing.
  13. My all time best score ... 120. Only parred 3 times in my life. After the first one, I retired the ball.
  14. Anyone who favors gun rights should feel responsible, since they're the reason this happens. I have no blood on my conscious.

    Ukraine - Doomsday

You can't give him props for going to the front line and doing that? Human trafficking? What does that have to do with anything? Ya know I've never seen you post anything interesting. Not once. And you post a lot. Even an idiot gets lucky once in a while, but not you. I've never blocked anyone on this site in 20+ years here and I've read a lot of crap, but nothing you post is ever worth reading. Later kid.

    What's Your Gripe ?

Interesting, I wonder what Florida's law is.?. My wife recently bought a '21 Honda Pilot. Great car, but the damn headlights are halogen. Great for driving at night. Not so great for on-coming traffic. Every time I drive at night drivers are constantly flashing high beams at me, even though mine's not on. I don't even flash back. I feel their pain. Those damn headlights should be illegal.

    Ukraine - Doomsday

Wonder if Putin has the guts to visit the front lines and award medals to troops brandishing machine guns?
