That's what it would take. People forced to go. I'm sure Star Wars nerds think 'I'd love to live on Mars.' Til ya tell them "you'll never go outside again. Never hear the birds chirp, feel the wind, take a walk, go the beach, or go anywhere ever... just live in a tiny space bubble - forever." Someday people will live on Mars. It'll a few hundred (at most) scientists who do it for money and can't wait to get back home. -
Bet a wee bit on Chargers, but with very little faith. Think Dak is way over-rated and Dallas D a little over-rated, but.... Chargers D is putrid and their coach is about to get canned. Mostly betting Herbert can single-handedly beat the Boys. If he does, it'll probably be close. Should be a good game. Didn't bet over/under. If Dallas wins, it's probably under.

None were smoking hot by today's standards. Hell not even by 70's standards... Marry Ann.

I don't know who that guy is and I'm not against his prediction on the surface... but "By 2030 there will be no more private cars." Why not push it to say 2100 and keep some credibility? Nope.... 6 and half years. Ridiculous. I doubt self driving cars will even be mainstream for at least another 20. Probably more like 50. Why make a prediction which is clearly bs? Just headlines? It's like when Elon Musk predicted "There will be 1 million people living on Mars by 2050." Sounded sci-fi, but for practical purposes everyone knew it was a load of crap - including Elon. So why say it? -
The 24 hr evacuation mandate was over Saturday morning. Thought there'd be live war footage to go with my college football, but didn't happen. Go gators! Offensive was apparently post-poned... probably to allow more civilians out (less bad pr), prep reservists, and better strategize. I still wonder if they'll shell the hell out of the area before entering. Seems like a smart military move, given the difficulty of urban warfare. If they do shell it, any civilians who didn't, or couldn't, get out will wish they had.

40 million commercial flights globally per year over 30+ years and you point to a few suicides as a reason not to lock cockpit doors? As if, there's really much chance of stopping a suicide pilot. But you think that incredibly small possibility of it happening and maybe preventing it, is worth the risk of terrorists taking over planes and causing horrific carnage? Like I said - you must be joking.

You must be joking.

Always thought the FAA deserved the majority of blame for 9/11. A dozen dudes with box cutters did all that damage because the FAA didn't require airlines to lock cockpit doors. That's all it would've taken - $10 lock. European airlines had been locking their doors for decades because of that very threat. But not the US. The FAA waited until something catastrophic happened before doing what should've been done decades earlier. Idiots.

Last year Denver's offense was the problem - mainly Russel Wilson. This year, Denver's defense has been the problem. Wilson has thrown 2-3 Tds in every game except the Dolphin game where he only threw 1 and got pulled early. And they've scored 20 or more in 4 out of 5 games. Like everyone I wondered if Wilson was washed, but apparently not. KC defense in middle of the pack in passing defense ... so Denver probably can score 20. I question if the Chiefs can score big without Kelce.

Ever have one of those FF seasons that just make you question why you do it?

Started listening to FF podcasts in May. Thought I'd figured the key to my league's weird scoring system. 1-4 Don't call it a comeback!!! -
Last time Kelce missed a game, the Chiefs looked like they were drawing plays in the dirt. If he's out, I'd be nervous betting the over.

I bet that turns out to be an incredibly low estimate. Israel once traded 1,027 Palestinian prisoners... for 1 Israeli soldier. That's what Israel values the exchange rate of Palestinians.

Seemed like a game that would come down to the final possession. It was. One for the good guys! Make that a two-fer. C'mon, let's all banana dance! -

Love doesn't seem to go through progressions much. Wherever he looks first, that's usually where the ball goes. Makes it easier for defense. -

Not trying to poke holes... heck I bet on the Raiders. But when I saw that pass I was reminded of people who question his arm strength. However, he can obviously go through progressions really well. Years of NFL experience. Something Love probably isn't great at yet with so few starts. -

Agreed. Some of Jimmy G's passes.... that 25 yarder near the dirt the Wr had to scoop it.?. Is Jimmy's arm really as weak as some say? Sure looked like it on that play. -

Vegas -2 Under 45.5 Lots of punts. Might be boring til the 4th quarter. Love didn't do well last week against Lions pressure, which will probably be Raiders gameplan with Jones out, and AJ Dillon stinking up the joint. Blitz that fool. -
Palestine hits Israel... Israel pounds them into the dirt. The retribution has always been uneven. Now they're in for a world of hurt.

I'm temporarily lifting my self-imposed ban from this forum to say the guy in that video is a complete idiot. And I don't even like Stern. Stern thought the Olsens were hot as teenagers.?. Yeah, lots of people did including me and everyone on this forum. They were. What? If ya call teenagers "hot" before they're 18 that means you're a pedo??? Ridiculous. And they did morph into freaks. "If woke means I don't support Trump, or I support people's right to be trans, or support the vax... then call me woke." That's supposed to be outrageous? What??? "Stern said the Columbine killers should've raped their victims - worst thing I've ever heard anyone say ever!" Stern said the killers were losers who couldn't get a girl, so he joked it's surprising they didn't try to get some action before they killed them. A bad joke, but even the caller agreed. I didn't watch any more. That guy is an idiot. Clearly playing to his Trump loving audience.
