Breece Hall ranked higher than Connor and White?

I was that guy saying Hall's adp was too high because he's coming off the acl. Week 1) 127 yds on 10 carries. Even if ya take away the 83 yd run, he still averaged 4.9 yds per carry. Incredible. The poor history of Rbs off acl's still makes me nervous about re-injury, but while healthy Hall is a beast. Clearly the Jets were holding him back letting Cook out carry him and getting an extra target. But Cook looked.... cooked. Vikings may have gotten out at the right time. This week Jets play Cowboys - tough matchup. Especially with Wilson under center, as Jets probably looking at stacked boxes. Considering the time share and matchup, Hall's 10th overall ranking seems optimistic. RB 20 this week makes more sense to me. But so long as he stays healthy, the time share will eventually decrease and Hall will be a better start each passing week.

    Cooper now questionable

He's only missed 1 game in the last 4 years.?.

Austin Ekeler Watch - Ankle Injury

Spiller probably gets 3+ receptions and some rotation work. If lucky, a possible Td. Obviously not an optimal start, but in a pinch he's startable this week. He's the Ram's 4th rd pick from '22... now in sophmore season when Rbs often improve a lot. If Kelley struggles and Spiller produces... ya never know. Not as insane as it sounds.

    Waller injury

I predict Waller plays and you'll be happy you started him.

Austin Ekeler Watch - Ankle Injury

As expected Ekeler out, so let's see what Kelley can do with that insane offense. Averaged 5.7 yards per carry last week, but now facing Titans who were #1 against the run last year. Maybe the fear of Herbert will open some holes like it did against Miami.

    week 2 lineup changes

Rams facing Niners. Stafford has historically struggled against the Niners, who pressured Pickett to death last week. Puka has an "oblique strain", but supposed to play. Might get covered by cb Charvarius Ward who's pretty good. Saints facing Carolina who gave up 9th highest passing last year and their best cb Jaycee Horn is out this week. Who knows which scrub will be covering Shaheed, who looked great with Carr last week. I'd go Shaheed, as I like everyone on the Saints this week. Carr, Williams, Olave, (pains me to say M Thomas), and Shaheed.

    M.I.A. D'Andre Swift

Interesting stat I heard today - in the Thursday night game, Swift racked 133 yards BEFORE CONTACT. Good Eagles o-line, bad Vikings defense, good running by Swift...? Probably all three, but that o-line deserves most credit IMO. Crazy stat.

I have the first waiver pick this week.

Edwards is the powerback, Hill is the speedster. I don't know exactly why the Ravens put in Hill in for those 2 Tds last week, but I'm calling fluke.

TNF Discussion: Vikings at Eagles - Wk2

Fear not Viking fans - ya might be 0-2 now, but the Chargers are on deck! Ok that sucks, but at least your at Carolina in week 4 assuming you've finally got your sh*t together. Better win that, because then it's the KC Chiefs. Niners two weeks later... What a disaster.

TNF Discussion: Vikings at Eagles - Wk2

Vikings call timeout before the first tush push... "maybe if we think about it for a minute, we can stop the unstoppable!" Nope.

TNF Discussion: Vikings at Eagles - Wk2

2020 - Kirk Cousins was the most hit Qb. 2021 - he was 3rd. 2022- he was again 1st Week 1 2023 - tied for first with 7 hits. Good lord Vikings. Let's see what happens tonight against one of the better defenses. If history is any indication.... poor Kirk.

    A bye week.

    Cooks sprained MCL

Healthy or not, I wasn't on the Cooks bandwagon. I question how much he has left in the tank, and even if he does... can Dak (who I think is starting to fade) make him productive.?. I thought Cooks adp was inflated to start, probably because of name recognition. Dak started his career with rushing and passing Tds. But those days are over. He hasn't rushed for more than 3 Tds since 2018. Now it's all passing, and he hasn't been overly impressive at that. Last year 23 Td / 15 Int... rather sad for a 7-year vet in today's pass happy NFL.

I have the first waiver pick this week.

Gus is a north-south runner, which is good for goal line and short yardage. But he doesn't seem to shed tackles, juke, or look very fast. Just nothing special to my untrained eye. Beginning to wonder if I should've looked elsewhere.

I have the first waiver pick this week.

I took the Gus Bus because I figured any Rb handed the starting roll is an auto-waiver. So I decided to look at some highlight film... not impressed. Just slowly runs forward til someone touches him and he falls down. And those are the highlights.

I have the first waiver pick this week.

Ok, I didn't know that. I'd still lean Mostert (Hurts steals most Tds anyway), but closer than I thought.

I have the first waiver pick this week.

I'd seriously rethink that. Swift drafters are understandably hoping he becomes the player they imagined when drafted, but Week 1 left little reason to believe that's gonna happen this week. Meanwhile Mostert is getting carries, receptions and goal line work.

    Kyle Pitts

Falcons coach and GM were both hired in '21, and they used an early 1st round pick on Pitts. It's as though they thought Matt Ryan would be there several more years, but when that didn't happen they completely changed gears. In '22 they drafted their rookie Qb and today it's a run-first, run-second, run dang near every time team. Now Pitts is stuck on a running team with a bad Qb. Such a waste. I wonder what kind of draft pick they could trade for Pitts and if they'd even considered doing it?

I have the first waiver pick this week.

Could be Gainwell is just the last decent Rb the Eagles have. Penny looked terribly slow in preseason (no surprise a healthy scratch last week). Then there's Swift who the Lions knew quite well and still preferred the Eagles 4th rd pick in '25. That leaves 5'6" powerback Boston Scott... and Gainwell.

who was your sleeper draft picks

For those of yall smart enough to hop the Roschon train... the train will be leaving the station very soon.

I also have the top waiver and will be taking the Gus Bus.

A few things you can count on in life... death and Michael Thomas getting injured.

    Aaron Rodgers

I never root for injuries, but Week 1 worked out great for my Fish. Dolphins win, Patriots lose, Bills lose, Jets lose Rodgers

Hell of a catch by Wilson! That was pretty cool.

MNF Discussion: Bills at Jets - Week 1

Packers are sure hoping he'll be back soon. Jets traded a conditional 1st round pick for Rodgers... which turns into a 2nd round pick if Rodgers doesn't play 65% of season.
