  1. We had a great showing last week to make up for the putrid week 4. Reuben Randle 6rec 96yards 2TD Terence Williams 4rec 151yards 1TD Robert Woods 5rec 64yards REACH Jeremy Kerley 5rec 68yards 1TD Let's see if we can keep this rolling into this week. At first glance it looks like the pickens will be slim, but upon further review it looks like we could have some interesting matchups to exploit if you are in dire straits. Without further ado, here are the sultans of swing for this week... yes... it was an awful pun. Jerome Simpson WR MINvsCAR I know i always preach 'don't chase points' but Simpson's increasing target load over the past 3 weeks can't be ignored. It appears that Cassell has given a little more bite to this vikings passing attack than ponder could ever dream of. He has Freeman breathing down his neck, but sources say that Cassell should be safe for week 6. I think he will play motivated football here, and look early and often for his favorite target Simpson who totaled 11targets (more than double anyone else on the team!) in his last game en route to a 7rec 124 yards performance. He and Cassell had a bye week to prepare for the panthers' formidable secondary, who has done fairly well against the pass this year. WR2s however have averaged 5catches for 63 yards against them thus far this season, and i like the matchup of the 6'2" Simpson will have over the 5'8" Munnerlyn. This mismatch should warrant a couple deep looks as well as a redzone look or two. Best of all, Simpson is only owned in 16% of yahoo leagues, so don't be afraid to scoop and play! Prediction Simpson 7rec 88yards 1TD Terence Williams WR DALvsWAS Williams came through for Dallas in a big way last week. Nothing bigger than his 82 yard TD catch over carter (who is 7 inches shorter than Williams). I look for Williams to be a big part of the cowboys offensive attack again this week for a home game against the division rival Redskins. Miles Austin's availability is still up in the air, but even if he comes back, i think they'll run him in the slot. This will hamper Beasley, but Williams should still get plenty of looks while sharing the field with the gimpy Austin. It looks like the speedy Williams will have another height advantage as he is set to draw the 5'9" Josh Wilson on Sunday. Look for the cowboys to exploit this matchup as Dez will like draw deangelo hall and plenty of attention from the WAS safeties. A TD may be a little too much to ask for this week as Dez and Witten draw most of romo's redzone looks. Williams is only owned in 18% of yahoo leagues, but may be the hot pickup... act fast! Last 3 WR2s against WAS Streater 2rec 18yards (flynn @ QB) Burleson 6rec 116yards Jones 11rec 178 yards... Jordy also had 4rec 66yards 2TDs Prediction Williams 6rec 98yards 0-1TD Leonard Hankerson WAS@DAL The Dallas secondary has been shredded the last few weeks, yet their offense is firing on all cylinders. It couldn't be a better time to start an opposing WR against them. An educated guess puts the talented Brandon Carr on Garcon, leaving the streaky 2nd year Claiborne to cover Hankerson. Don't be fooled by his highlight reel interception... Claiborne was torched for much of the game against Denver, and Rookie Keenan Allen abused him the prior week in San Diego. Hankerson should see added looks this week if the Cowboys front 7 can stop Morris. (and they are usually pretty stout against the run). Hankerson is only owned in 10% of yahoo leagues, so don't be afraid to scoop and play. Last 3 WR2s against Dallas Decker 5rec 87yards 1TD Allen 5 rec 80yards Pettis 2rec 20yards 1TD Prediction Hankerson 6rec 73 yards 1TD Deep League Reach Jericho Cotchery WR PIT@NYJ While 3rd on the depth chart, Cotchery has been outproducing Emmanuel Sanders thus far on the season. With Heath Miller back, one would have assumed that his early success was all but over. Cotcher responded with a solid performance for 5rec 103yards and a TD. If the Steelers are going to move the ball it will have to be through the air, as this NYJ front 7 is for real, and Pittsburgh hasn't been able to get anything going on the ground. Brown should draw Cromartie which leaves either the gimpy Dee Milliner(hamstring) or the 5'9" kyle wilson to cover the 6'1" Cotchery who is second on the team for redzone targets with 5 (in 4 games). I think Cotchery has the potential to surprise again this week and he and Ben continue to gel Prediction Cotchery 5rec 80yards 0-1 TD Other reaches to watch: Riley Cooper - A very risky play, as many FFers assume that he and Foles have some kind of practice squad connection... yet he only got 1 target from foles last week... your guess is as good as mine. Jeremy Kerley - Ike Taylor should draw Hill... he's as good a CB as you'll see in the league.... this leaves winslow, cumberland, and Kerley to produce through the air... who gets theirs??? As always, please share your picks for scoop and play if you see any matchups to exploit. Criticism is welcome AND expected. GL
