We are always looking for that late-round gem that can propel you past the competition. I am getting on board with Tajae Sharp.
Good sized kid at 6' 3" and 195. From a small school (UMass), but as a senior in 2015, he broke UMass records for career receptions and receiving yards, finishing the season with 111 receptions for 1319 yards.
Four things intrigue me:
1. Has had a outstanding camp and preseason. Has caught every target thus far, and is projected to start on the outside. Pre-draft scouting reports and grades were mostly glowing.
2. Has great size and apparent chemistry with Mariota.
3. Could easily be their #1 WR, with Matthews, Hunter, and Andre to compete with....and Green-Beckham gone.
4. Is a fantastic value currently. Snagged him in the 14th round in two drafts recently.
