Anquan Boldin is a proven receiver and Lee Evans has shown he can play in this league. I'll take them over the uncertainty of the #3 and #5 picks. All else being equal, I am always in favor of proven players vs hypothetical - what if situations with draft picks. Especially rookie WRs like Edwards and Williams. Anquan Boldin showed in his first year that he could be a top flight wr in the league and Evans really came on strong at the end. What scares me about Boldin is Fitzgerald on the other side suckin up his catches. Don't forget Boldin had his huge year when there was basically nobody else to throw to and then he got hurt this past year. He didn't look all that special when he came back but that could be due to the injury after effects. Another reason why this deal can't really be evaluated to accurately is we do not know where williams, Benson, Cadillac, Edwards go in the draft. These guys go to teams where they don't play well then no big deal but you will be kicking yourself if they go to teams that have no other offensive weapons.
