Bill we need to look at that recent trade!

Where Frenzied traded a pick for Patrick Ramsey.

 

I am against any kind of veto, but i think this guy does not know the rules. Does he know it is not a dynasty league?

 

He just traded for a QB I doubt he is going to keep. and he traded a good pick.

 

I am not saying void the deal, i just noticed that the guy already had a good collection of keepers.

 

He was kinda slipped into the league, and i never see him on the boards. I guess i just want to know what he was thinking and if he knows the rules. Because that was a stupid trades and i don't want a string of these to happen after Galt did a pretty good job putting together that team.

 

Again i am not against the trade, i am just concerned the guy does not know the rules. No good owner would keep Ramsey with the team he has.

I'll ask him.

 

He is in another of my leagues so I know him pretty well. I am sure nothing funny is going on, but he might and forgotten that this is the keeper league (and thought it was the dynasty league). He's in both (actually three, Shula/Landry.Halas).

We are talking a 5th rd pick for a guy who has a ton of upside, and what is looking to be a great set of WR's, just b/c you don't like the trade, doesn't make it a bad deal! a 5th rd pick in this league is like a 10th rounder!! Give me a break!! This is a league of knowledgable owners, I don't think we need to hold hands and second guess everyone! IMO the commish looked at it and he processed it, it should be a dead issue.

Don't get your panties up in a bunch, i just wondered if the guy knew this was not a dynasty. Yes i acknowledge Ramsey may have a bright future, but i question whether he realizes he is going to have to cut him in a couple of months that is all.

 

No harm intended at all. It just seemed he does not realize it is a 5 keeper. If you read my p[ost, i said i didn't favor a veto (i never do) ,i merely wanted Bill to check with the guy, that he knows the rules.

I can't think of any scenario where i would keep Ramsey with his team, and i doubt anyone else would either.

 

that is all. I just want to make sure the guy knows the rules and is not a ACK type either. I never begrudge anyone for a trade.

great trade for whoever got the pick, i just want to nip it in the bud if the guy is confused.

If that's the case fine, but I offered him the trade about 3 weeks ago and he wanted time to think about it, I think after 3 weeks anyone on this board would know the rules. And there was alot simpler ways to go about it then to poat a thread titled: Bill we need to look at that recent trade! From the title you have people on the defensive, and the way that my day is going it actually pissed me off! Not that is your fault, or that i should of responded that way, but I think a simple e-mail would of worked just fine! Ok I'm off my rant, nothing personal Tuna, if it was a different day i probally wouldn't of even responded.
