Lord of the flies 0 Posted July 27, 2003 Everyone, It looks like there is still problems with the draft date. So, I have an idea. As soon as I get the rest of the keepers, I will open up the draft and everyone can select their player when they have time (and access) but I won't turn the timer on until August 7th. Then on the 7th the timer will be on and set for 6 hours. The timer will be on all the time. How does that sound?? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

This proposal was viewed as a compromise. Myself and others who had plans for later in the month were okay with this but incorrectly assumed that the teams in this league would conduct this draft expediciously (when available). This however has not been the case. Are you prepared to shut off the timer when some of the rest of us aren't around later in the month. No I don't care if his dog ate his cheatsh!t or his wife threw it out. He has been available for over 2 1/2 days and is not picking. Fock Him. Now we have another team saying "The timer starts ..." This total lack of repect for the rest of the leagues has got to be stopped. Just turn on the timer. Set it at 1hr for Shovel and lets get it started. I feel bad we gave tuna such crap because at least he picked during a 24-hour timespan. I'm telling you right now, I will NOT be available from Saturday, August 16 until Sunday August 24. If we can't get the draft done by then, then I honestly don't know what is going to happen. I'm sure my girlfriend will NOT be pleased getting reg. phone calls from Bill updating me on what was taken and checking in to see what my picks are.
