League government and draft format

Here is what we decided

 

Deputy Commissioner - shovelheadt

Director of Player Operations - eviloutsider

3rd (elected) memeber of Management Council - chasers dawg

 

We also decided on our draft format.

 

We will start to draft in July and have a 2 hour timer per pick.

Nope. That is next.

 

Here are a couple ideas (from the other leagues) and remember, this is only for the time after the draft till the season starts. The league rules already specify how free agency works during the season (reverse of standings).

 

1. first come, first served, everyday (24 hour periods - 1 team pickup per day)

2. reverse of original index order

3. something else.

 

So, let's hear it.

I vote #1. With the limit of 1 per day, 1st come 1st served is as fair as any, and a lot less headaches!!

The league officers are fine here.

 

July is fine on the draft.

 

I also think 1st come first served would be fine on the free agents but to give all a fair chance on free agents maybe we could extend the time out to 72 hours. So that would be only 1 pickup and drop every 72 hours until the season starts. Just an idea!!!
