BigSoup 0 Posted July 16, 2003 Hi I am getting an error when I try to set up my draft buddy. It tells me it cannot find the Compiler file. I see that it is looking for fftoday_compiler_2003_1.0.xls and I have version 1.2. I have tried simply renaming the version but that doesn't seem to work. Any advice? Thanks. Mike FF Today 608 Posted July 16, 2003 High BigSoup, A couple things... 1. Make sure that both the Compiler and Buddy files are in the same folder. 2. Version 1.2? That hasn't been released yet so there's probably some nameing problem here... What are your current Compiler and Buddy filenames?
BigSoup 0 Posted July 16, 2003 Hi Mike, Thanks for the reply. The file names are: ffchamps_compiler_2003_1.2.xls and draft_buddy_2003_1.0.xls I just downloaded them from the FF Champs site. Both are saved to my desktop. Thanks. -SC
Mike FF Today 608 Posted July 16, 2003 Ok, you've got the Champs version... Open up Draft Buddy and click on the "Setup Tab." Near the top, there is a field called "Cheatsheet Compiler Filename." What is the filename listed to the right? It should be... ffchamps_compiler_2003_1.2.xls
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 16, 2003 Yeah, I think I slightly erred in the last Champs upload by not changing the default Compiler filename. Here is what needs to be done: The filename in Draft Buddy indicated on the setup tab (yellow box, you can change this) has to match exactly to the Compiler filename you are using. So, go to the Draft Buddy setup tab, and change that cell to be: ffchamps_compiler_2003_1.2.xls Fill in the rest, run Buddy setup, and I think that will do the trick. Also make sure they are in the same directory.
