Todd Banister 0 Posted July 28, 2003 Just paid for and downloaded the software and wanted to know if we will see the return of the virtual baseline stats from last year? Please! :-) The software is very good as is but the virtual baselines is what made it the absolute best. Thanks, TB
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 29, 2003 Thanks for the kind words Todd. Do you mean the players that represented the baselines at each position? Please clarify that for me.
Todd Banister 0 Posted July 29, 2003 As far as I remember from last year's sheet, there was a page that took the baseline player and subtracted their totals from the projected totals of all of the rest of the players. This would show McNabb as a +93 over baseline (McNabb at 367 and Jon Kitna/Tom Brady at 274) in a 8 team / 2 QB league. With these numbers in hand, it was very easy to see which players really helped your team more (top tier WR or a 2nd tier RB, etc). Can't remember if this was a page that you supplied or one that I added into the sheet. Take care, Todd B.
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 29, 2003 Sounds kind of like you are talking about the overall ranking cheatsheet. The calculations under the heading "Value" are the same as this, and the players are ranked based on this value number. It is on the cheatsheets tab. Scroll to the right to find it. Is that what you mean?
Todd Banister 0 Posted July 30, 2003 Well... sort-of. The ranking page that you mentioned shows everyone in dollar-value listed out in rank order (at least the way my software is currently configured). I am looking for it to be able to show points above baseline instead of fantasy dollars. While I know the rankings are exactly the same - the points above baseline are a lot more useful to me. Maybe I'm just weird that way. Thanks and take care, TB
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 30, 2003 Sounds like you have the auction feature enabled. That is the only time it shows dollar amounts. Go to the inputs tab, uncheck the auction feature, and re-run the Compile Cheatsheets button. Do the trick?
