Zap 0 Posted November 4, 2003 Three leagues: First team I drafted was in fellow geek Squidfinger's league. It's as competitive as any, and drafted in mid-friggin' July. I hadn't played ff for two years due to marital problems (seriously). I drafted a garbage team. It's in 2nd place, and sixth in points. Then I drafted this team, which I think you all know has over-achieved. I would call it a solid draft, but nothing to boast about. It's in 2nd place and 2nd in points. During our marathon draft, my bro and nephew, his son who lives with me, sold me on a third league. I drafted a smokin' team. It's #1 in points by over 100, and in 2nd place. The bad team has always been in first or second. The smokin' team has just battled into that spot. :confused: Lesson: We all love the volumes of football personnel knowledge this game forces into our memory, but in the end, no matter the format, luck reigns in this game.
