Alimony Tony 0 Posted September 15, 2005 I found these pics of my neighborhood. The water has finally gone down. But we still can't go to our homes to assess damage for another 2 -3 weeks. Someone with access took the pictures and posted them on the internet. This one is a home around the corner which was lifted off its foundation and deposited in the middle of the street. http://www.geocities.com/zman2516/storm3_001_5.jpg My house is the third one down thru the trees. http://www.geocities.com/zman2516/storm3_001_50.jpg The median used to be lined with beautiful Bradford Pear trees. They are gone now. http://www.geocities.com/zman2516/storm3_001_51.jpg This is a house about 8 doors down. A tornado blew through. The house that was across the street from it is completely gone. http://www.geocities.com/zman2516/storm3_001_54.jpg
OB1 33 Posted September 16, 2005 I guess the good news is that your house is still standing. Have you heard from or tried to cotact your employer? Just curious if they have even a rough timeframe of when they'll try to start to rebuild or relocate. Hang in there man.
Jwood 0 Posted September 16, 2005 I still don't understand why you didn't just hook it up to the trailer hitch on your car and drive it up to Texas. There's a reason it's called a mobile home. Dunno.
