I say 30 with a cut down of 24 before the rookie draft.

I'm assuming that since this is the first season there won't be a rookie draft or is that still being decided?

 

Assuming there's no rookie draft this year I'm guessing that means we would all draft 30 players and then going into next season we would have to release 6 players from our roster and that we would then have a rookie draft?

 

I'm just trying to see if I understand that correctly. TIA

Agree. Or even draft 24 to start. Saves us 6 rounds of time. 30 rounds is a lot.

If we do a rookie draft, I would say 4 rds of rooks and 26 rounds of regulars.
