Portis26 0 Posted October 22, 2005 Shotinheimer drafted Sage - he also drafted Gardner over Moss. Marty never did very good in the late rounds of drafts...
FF_Guru_Guy 0 Posted October 22, 2005 Remember about 5 years ago when he was Washington's QB of the future? five years ago sage was playing for Iowa State. I said, "about 5 years ago". Here's a link to one article from a little over 4 years ago, proclaiming Rosenfels to be Washington's QB of the future.
poop 0 Posted October 22, 2005 ok, maybe instead of "Dolphins QB of the future" I should have said "more upside and better production than Gus Frerotte". I do think Rosenfels still has some promise and he's been with the Fins for about 3 years now. Saban should really consider starting him over Frerotte to see if he could at least move the offense a little better.
Guest Rock Hard Posted October 22, 2005 ... Saban should really consider starting him over Frerotte to see if he could at least move the offense a little better. Oh yeah he'll move the offense alright ... straight into the dumper. This is repeat (to other thread) but is worth spreading - SAGE REALLY SUX... go back to when Jay Fiedler was injured for Fins, they put in Sage as starter.... over the next two weeks he stank up the joint so bad the team could not wait to get Jay back in soon enough. To me, the Fins REALLY need a grade A QB... Gus is a good backup grade QB but not a starter on a consistent basis. Sage isn't even at that level ... walk the WW at your own peril......
