It used to be like "The Bloods" vs "The Crypts"

I was a member of "The Bloods" :bandana:

All your news are belong to us

"The Crypts," eh? More like the Bloods vs. the Douchebags... and you were Johnny McDouchebag... King of the Douches.

The site back then: 10 outta 10

The site now: 9 outta 10

It was more fun back in the day, and just as informative. I guess the flames are old to me now.

Until this thread, I thought Megla and Moose were the same person. :)

I forgot about Tarheel Boy and Meph, coupla of clowns, I miss them.

Maybe they are still around. Still the best site out there.

You guys are a riot referring to the good old days as the late 1990's! Some of us were playing fantasy football when there was no internet or stat services and the only leagues that existed were basic scoring leagues because it took forever to figure out your score and who won the games if you had to factor in all of the yardage stuff! In 1987, a lot of people thought fantasy football was something x-rated.

Dude - we are referring to this site only. In the good ol' days you are referring to - I used pen and paper and we all agreed to abide by the stats of USA Today as the "official" source.

When Sideline Software came out with FFLM to manage the stats (with a stat service like you mentioned), we were in heaven. Eventually we moved onto Sportsline but those pen and paper days were interesting - especially when someone's math was wrong.

Of course I know that you guys are only talking about this site. Still, I find it interesting that anything as recent as 10 years ago could be thought of as 'the good old days'. :D

Not to get too political, but anything pre- 9/11 and the pre-Californization of my town is the good ol' days.
