Even before the end of the game heroics, I was feeling allright about the performance against a good tough Denver team. The win was just icing on the gravy.

I was at the game and it was a great win and experience--but their defense really needs some help (Come back, LT1, Come back!).

I originally questioned the trade that brought Eli Manning to NY (I thought they'd given up too much) but I'm happy to admit it looks like I was wrong. On one play, Manning rolled right, was forced back to his left and while running that way threw a great pass for a crucial first down. Kerry Collins couldn't have made that play in two lifetimes.

On the game winning TD pass, Manning was forced to backpedal due to a blitz (credit T. Barber for a good block on that play) and still hit Toomer with a terrific pass. I think it went in the books as a 2 yard TD pass, but Manning threw it from about the 15 while moving backward, yet still had "zip" on the ball and perfect accuracy. Eli =
