Polecat 0 Posted October 27, 2005 SD homers is this serious? Our league has limited number of waivers and I only have one left. I need to know if I'm going to have to use it on another kicker.

FreddieMercury 0 Posted October 28, 2005 From Yahoo: Oct 28 Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding didn't practice on Thursday because of his back injury, reports the team's website. He was able to practice on Wednesday and remains questionable on the injury report. Views: The Chargers aren't hesitant to sit their players during practice, so fantasy players shouldn't be too worried about this as long as Kaeding returns on Friday. Oct 27 San Diego Chargers PK Nate Kaeding (back) practiced Thursday, Oct. 27, and is expected to play during Week 8. Oct 27 Kaeding got in his normal workout during the Chargers' practice on Wednesday and fully expects to be ready for Sunday's matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. The second-year kicker currently is listed as questionable on the team's injury report, due to a sore back. Advice: Kaeding will be fine for the weekend. He has nailed 11 of his 12 field-goal attempts and all 22 of his point-after tries this season after struggling a bit during the Chargers' preseason slate. Looks like he should be fine for Sunday as long as he shows for practice today. If not, play it safe and pick up another kicker.
