He should work on his pass catching abilities because his only possibility would be as a third down back. He is worthless because of him being injury prone. The guy will never be able to handle a starting rb load. That in the fact the guy has speed but can't see a hole for the life of him. dreadlocks34 0 Posted October 29, 2005 A few years back the Vikings used Bennett in some 3rd down/screen pass situations and he was pretty effective. I think this is really the only role he can fill at this point. He did make the Pro Bowl one season, but I believe his stats were 1200 yards and 6 touchdowns. I just don't see anyone risking their season by hiring him to start. He could re-emerge, but he will have to earn his way onto the field.
