jdwgig 0 Posted October 29, 2005 droughns has been slated as a great start this week!! depends who ur other backs r
drmac 0 Posted October 29, 2005 Yah Droughns has been good for ~10 pts/week. He's a very solid play as a third back or a flex.
Edifice Of Shame 1 Posted October 29, 2005 Starting him, but don't really have a choice. SA - bye Fred - Fragile K Jones - vs Bears That leaves me with FWP and Droughns
BringBackBernie 0 Posted October 29, 2005 As a Browns homer, I thought Rueben was just a product of the Denver system, but he has turned me around. Droughns is a good back. He is tough to bring down and gets a lot of yards after contact. It has been tough for him to get in the end zone because the Browns do not have a quality QB and teams stack the line big time when the Browns get inside the 20. I like Dilfer, but he is not a good QB and is just giving Romeo time to develop Frye. This week, against Houston, I think Droughns is a good play. Honestly, I think he gets around 100 yards and a TD, and a few receptions. After Dilfer's last two games, I look for Romeo to lean on Droughns big time this week. As stated before, it depends on who your other RB's are this week.

hotgumbo1 12 Posted October 29, 2005 bottom line,he could be the best flex player in FF this year. Yes he hasn't scored but cranking out those 10 FF points each week is pretty darn solid. Even the Mosses, SSmith's, Jordan's of the world haven't done that.

Droughns is a great flex, bye week fill in this week. As a Browns fan, I feel that Romeo is going to run him to death this week.

Personaly, he's started for me at flex just about every game this season. With the year of the reeiver dominating flex spots, Droughns continues to start for me in one league at the flex position. Here's to fingers crossed rest of the season.
