Vikings D not a legal claim

Recommended Posts

The Vikings Defense was not a legal claim, according to the rules, waivers closed on Thursday. The only eligible player on Tuna's team to play in the Def/ST spot is Indy, and they will be inserted.

actually it is a legal claim,

as here is the rules as stated in the league constitiution:

One round of waivers will be processed per week. The date will be on Thursdays at 1:00 PM Eastern for Saturday and Sunday 1st game kickoffs and will be TBD for Thursday kickoffs (i.e. Thanksgiving). After the "one round" of the week's processed waiver wire, priority will then become first come…first serve.

TBD means To be determined...and since the league site claims waivers were open as FCFS up until the kickoff of the first game on Sunday.

thanks

You left out the sentence right before that:

The waiver wire will open on Tuesdays at 8:00am and will close 1 hour before kickoff of the first scheduled game of the week.

Sacha also said kickoff of Thursday games in his post earlier in the week:

The fact that waivers were open on the site was an error, this was not a legal claim.
