Dog Face Gremlins211 0 Posted March 11, 2006 The Dallas Morning News reports at center, the Cowboys could add a veteran such as C Kevin Mawae, one of HC Bill Parcells' best free-agent signings when he was with the New York Jets. Mawae's agent, Mark Bartelstein, has spoken with the Cowboys. http://www.ffmastermind.com/quickbits.php
EndGame 0 Posted March 12, 2006 I wouldn't bet any money on this actually happening.
Savage Beast 1 Posted March 12, 2006 This would be great, our o-line needs major help.

PowerBroker 0 Posted March 13, 2006 Does he have anything left in the tank -- wasn't BP telegraphicing that this was not gonna happen with his I will not be held hostage by a center again comments? I figured the Gurode resigning would send a signal that this was not going to happen. I would rather have Fabini anyway. However, I do agree that the cowboys need o-line help. Cruzer 1,995 Posted March 13, 2006 With the signing of Kyle Kosier and the resigning of Gurode, looks like Larry Allen has played his last game in a Cowboys uniform.
mggoilers 0 Posted March 13, 2006 Gurode and Kosier can play multiple spots on the line. This makes sense since Center has been a major problem for the Cowboys
Cruzer 1,995 Posted March 13, 2006 Jep, L.Allen is due a $2 mil roster bonus soon and is scheduled to count $7 mil against the cap - he's not worth even half of that anymore. He was a great one, but his time has come - least at that kind of money.
