Vince Young vs Micheal Vick

I've strayed from tdrafting Vick for years...gets hurt too much. But when comparing him to Young .... Vick is much, much better. He's faster, has a stronger arm, and this is the scary part...Vick is more accurate, especially on the long ball. Neither can read plays all that well.

 

Young is more like a poor version of McNabb. But McNabb got much better in his first 3 years. Maybe Young can do the same.

 

I'm hoping this is the year Vick is available in say, round 8-10 of my draft. He should finally be getting used to the WC offense and the new WRs they picked up last year.

You can't compare Young to McNabb. McNabb in college quarterbacked an offense that reasonably resembled a pro-style offense. Young did not. McNabb stayed for four years to develop which is huge in terms of developing as a pro early. He threw for over 8300 yards and rushed for about 1600. Young threw for about 6000 and rushed for over 3000! Other than weight and speed, the two guys are not similar prospects.

In other words, there's no way he'll be available in rounds 8-10.
